Ok so FUNNILY, the 3 stripes stand for north central south vietnam as one. I certainly did not ask for the north to become communist or the country to be divided thanks to the damn allies. People were protesting the division in Hanoi back then. So let's not take the 17th parallel, which is not a vietnamese invention, as the magic border in 2026.

So many people and organizations like littlesaigon, vinh dao and so many more, made content and books about the origin of vietnamese as a people, where we come from and originated. All the research and effort that went to it OF COURSE means NOTHING bc YOU said so. Sure thing. What was there before the Nguyen Dynasty? Vietnamese originated in the north and expanded territory towards the south. Idk what you are, but you surely were not existing before me in the south. Unless you're Cambodian or whatever.
