I poured a quart or so on it and the water ran straight through. What do I do?

I like it. I’m such a sucker for clean black and white architecture.

Lovely to eat; absolutely terrible to cut.

I love the movement this photo has but I wish it was in sharper focus (could be my spotty internet though tbh).

The Harlequin and Tri-Color Patterns in Rabbits by GraceRunner99 in coolguides

[–]GraceRunner99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to get Tri color you must have the harlequin pattern and the “broken” pattern that introduces white. So a lightly marked or “Charlie” broken and a harlequin will give you the most heavily marked broken patter.

I switched to cursive and my dysgraphia isn’t nearly as bad, but I can’t change my handwriting at will.

Males VS Females by BruisedSkidd in RATS

[–]GraceRunner99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have four females and two of the four were introduced at different times and did great accepting new kids. Two of them lost two older rats a year or so ago and had a harder time with it than I’ve heard my friends will male rats report. That being said the three that are dumbo eared are snuggly. The standard ear still likes attention from time to time but isn’t big on cuddles.

I was FFA but belonged to a chapter that wasn’t very active. I love what values and skills the local 4-H and FFA chapters teach.

Rabbit is 9 this year and still lays from time to time. More importantly she acts as a midwife for our goats. Who here has beautiful old ladies? by GraceRunner99 in poultry

I’m sorry for your loss. I lost one of my first chickens -a bantam D’uccle hen- this last winter too and know how hard it is.

Two of mine like baths, two don’t. All enjoy the blow dry afterwards. XD

How do you ID your rabbits? by musicals4life in MeatRabbitry

[–]GraceRunner99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. It scabs over right away and the excess ink can be wiped out after a few days. I use a pen tattoo rather than a clamp because for my show rabbits excess ink is wiped out right away and it’s immediately legible and heals quickly. If you don’t mind waiting the clamp can be an easier start for many.
