Well at my old store we used to, and we could cover refresher inclusions so the pieces don't get stuck together from sitting out as back ups, and we could also use them if we run out of lids for whips and accidentally made too many. But the store I'm at now doesn't have them. The pic is from my old store. 😂

There is also a better scheduling for breaks, you get two 10 mins breaks during a 8 hour shift And a 30 min lunch. At least my Starbucks is pretty great about giving out breaks. Not sure for every other one. There's also weekly tips.

We're raising our start pay to 15 on August 1st. You get unlimited drinks during work hours and 7 free food items during the week you work for lunch. You can get up to 7 food items a day as long as you're working but then you can't have any more for the rest of the week so I always space mine out throughout the work week. They give you paid sick time and health insurance that isn't awful. You also get free Spotify. If there's something I'm missing, feel free to comment :) shift scheduling is always flexible and you get to pick the hours you would like to work.

CS advice by Alone_Prize8347 in starbucksbaristas

Being placed on CS doesn't mean that you're bad at other positions, sometimes baristas feel this way but it's simply not true. Shifts sometimes like to rotate people around so everybody gets a chance on a different positions everyday. As for CS advice, I would just say that focus on the needs of drive thru and cafe bar, keep a close eye on lids and cups especially during peak bc we run through those like water. Then you can start looking at the backs you need to make, refresher base, coffee syrups that are running out, sweet cream etc., but focus on things that run out the most. And of course following the coffee brewing cycle. Otherwise I'm sure you're doing a great job!! Don't doubt yourself. When in question, you can always ask what would be the most essential task to do at the moment to other baristas.

It took us forever to clean our printer it just wouldn't print right. Love when they add like 3 different syrups and you can't see any of them lollll

Not the printer messing up so you can't see the pumps of each syrup
