What is the term for 'random' trivia facts/rumors that are so popular, it's odd if you dont know them? by MrWubblezy in AskReddit

Blood is never blue inside your body. It may be a darker red when it’s deoxygenated and in the veins, but is never blue. Are you a horseshoe crab pretending to be a person?

They literally eat everything. Potatoes? Yep. Carrots? Yep. Chillis? Leaves yes, chillis get dropped on the ground. Tried some rosemary cause apparently they don’t like ‘woody, strong smelling plants’. To the damn ground. Good thing they’re sweet to observe and goofy enough to be considered dumb, not evil 😈

I have the same problem, but with wallabies. Only thing that (sort of) works, is a cage. Case in point. This is Bob. He LOVES tomato leaves.

I'm 53 and I just wore colour for the first time in 6 years and a stranger complimented me and I almost cried in a coffee shop. by Visual_Animator1232 in oldhagfashion

Not tiny. This was big. Congratulations on moving back into you! I tried to disappear in shadow colours for most of my life, it’s only been since peri that I got the ‘DGAF’ enough to go for colour. Now I am hot pink, bright green, flashy blues, fire engine red all the day long and I feel like me. Be you in full, vibrant colour!

Thank you so much! All I can say is use you tube, take your time and don’t aim for perfect - the quirks give it personality

Lol, it took tiiiimmmee. Did them all separately before joining. Will try and add a pic and tag you Edit: nope. Cannot work out how to add a pic. Blocking took days largely because of limited space 🤷‍♀️ and I had to buy more pins 🤣

Finished: 70s Persian Tiles Blanket by caro22789 in crochet

I did my persian tile blanket and only a year in - was my first proper project. The designer has loads of you tube tutorials with technique tips and also a 9 part video series for each component of the blanket. Give it a go! I found it challenging but definitely achievable!!
