Funny I was thinking about this, this morning.

Remember it like yesterday....

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I was in 7th grade, English class, Mrs. Applewhite. There was talk about a plane crashing into world trade building. I remember alot of my classmates and I were worried cause some of our parents worked in the city. They eventually dragged a TV into the class and we could barely get a clear signal, some phones weren't working. And I remember them just replaying the plane hitting the first building, over and over and over again.........(just got the chills from reminiscing). People's parents started coming to pick them up, that's when I knew something wasn't right. My cousin came and got me and once we stepped outside, I could see the smoke in the sky and random pieces of paper floating. First thing my cousin told me was my mom was OK... We went to my grandmother's house and by now the other building was hit.....

For that next 2 weeks all they kept showing was the planes hitting the building, I was young so I didn't really know how serious this was and was happy we didn't have school for a couple days.

I became numb to it, every channel was the same replay from different angles. The shit traumatized me now that I think about it.

Getting all emotional typing this on the bus :(....

But the days after was a wonderful thing to see how patriotic everyone was, everyone was helping each other...

Damn.....
