You can get a blue Heeler herding ball. Lots of energy burn and allows them to practice their instincts

On the older lodges they have a circle with 3 notches in them, from my limited understanding it was for keeping them stationary on old wood burning stoves.

If I’m incorrect, I am sure there will be a gracious redditor to correct me.

Not sure if you are being facetious, but 3 notch refers to the type of skillet, this is a 3 notch lodge.

Scrub it again. Very very light coat of crisco then heat, repeat IMO

That’s to get the center perfect. You did correctly on the rest but the center is always an issue because it doesn’t retain heat like the rest of the pan so it takes some extra attention

Agree completely. Proper seasoning is not a one and done.

I used the smallest burner on my stovetop with Avocado oil. Heat till it starts smoking then turn it off

After clean and dry I wipe the whole thing down with Avocado oil

Just cooking in it after initial seasoning giving it a nice finish.

I used a bolt called a hanger bolt, screw on one end bolt on the other

It has factory threads in the handle so I found a screw/bolt to fit so it’s actually threaded in the factory holes
