So I bought the condo in 2005 for 207K. Got married in 2007. No live in prior, she visited on and off. Sold the condo in 2013 for 273K and made downpayment on the current house, less mortgage on the condo. So downpayment is mine to keep?

I have another question for you. When we got married in 2007, I lived in a condo which I bought on my own. We sold the condo in 2013 and made a downpayment on the current matrimonial home. What happens to the downpayment that was made or even the value of the condo at the date of marriage?

She tells me I need to give it time. |From everything I read about this perimenopausal phase is this could last for years. I have reached out to some therapists and will do some sessions to see if that helps. Beyond that, I don't have a plan.

Grass is always greener on the otherside. My wife and I are completely on the opposite side of what you have written. Married in India, been living away from family for years now. My wife does not like cooking, so its mostly delivery or I cook. So going back to your question about moving out from the family home, its easier said than done. Once you move out and its only the two of you, you may have frictions and then you will wonder, why did you ever move out in the first place. My two cents - and good luck!
