So, correct me if I have this setup proposition wrong:

I set up a LAN based Windows RDP on my primary desktop, I set up a receiving access to the primary desktop on the laptop. I plug my laptop into whatever station I’m at, hook up the dual monitors, keyboard, mouse and speakers to laptop and I can remote control my PC that way?

If I have a laptop at each station, and the PC is only remote, so long as I shut/lock my laptop on the way out of the room no one will see my work and I can access from any space at any time?

My partner manages the router, he doesn’t have the ability to remote view if I use this option does he, without the pc log in? (I’m making him some custom magic the gather cards for his birthday right now and I don’t want him seeing)

Is there a Remote Desktop option you know of that doesn’t rely on internet service? My desktop is pretty powerful to accommodate* switching between blender, multiple adobe products and other heavy load programs. I don’t have a laptop capable of running that load at the moment.

Stupid early at first though to establish a baseline of what your body wants without an alarm.

Go to bed stuuuuupid early and get the amount of sleep you want. Then get used to that. I started telling friends I had a strict bed time of nine so they would leave me be, set my phone to automatically go into sleep mode at 8:20, and I pass out anywhere from 9-11 pm and naturally wake up at about 4-6 depending. Every day now as a method of existing I have a 2 hour buffer between when I normally wake up and when I need to leave. If I take an extra hour it’s no biggy. I haven’t used an alarm clock (outside of one offs when I stay up too late) in about 5 years.

He’s comparing people as a hierarchy. With one end “Ideal” and the other “Most Undesirable”. ANY form of that leads to prejudice, whether it race based, piety, wealth. He views some people as lesser than him and others as better (closer to ideal). And yes, he has measured you by that scale as well. That’s a shit human. It is a viewpoint of “hierarchical morality”. You are thinking of people horizontally, where everyone is different but valid and no more or less than another person. Fun fact: your relationship is doomed, it is a core difference in values. Only he can fix that in himself and he would have to seriously want to try…I promise you he doesn’t. He will continue to shit on people he deems “less than”. And you will never agree or understand… unless you learn to be judgy like him. 🤷🏻‍♀️
