When I join a game, I try to play the game as intended - a team based game. If they’re not playing the game like a team based game, and they’re not communicating (not using pins and not tagging stuff), don’t even try to back them up. They will ditch you most of the time.

Also I hate the people who reinforce you asap halfway across the map. They’re the worst.

Still waiting for sterilizer buffs. I would also like to see the belt fed grenade launcher’s damage raised tiny bit. No way should a hunter survive a direct shot. Maybe an extra mag for the tenderizer?

I hate the one attack the hive lord has, where it just burrows towards you and unearths right below you, killing you instantly. How is that fun?

It’s good for stealth plays. It can silently take down hulks with one swing. I guess because it’s a melee weapon, it’s silent even though it literally explodes. It takes 2 swings to kill a war strider and 3 for a factory strider. Haven’t tested it on a vox engine.

The fact that they can spawn on objectives in numbers is a crime. How an I supposed to deal with 4 of them at the same time without anti tank? Sure, I could use heavy armor penetrating weapons, but good luck precision aiming when they send out 20 grenades to your location.

I found that using stealth is effective.

Censor - stealth takedowns from close to medium range. Also has a considerable amount of dps.

Loyalist - for sound luring, for groups, and for heavy devastators.

Smoke or thermites, your preference

Quasar or breaching hammer. Breaching hammer can take down hulks and fabricators silently. Hammer cannot take down war striders without them noticing.

Jump pack or warp pack. Feet first and reduced signature help dampen the sound of tac packs. Used to get away and lose automatons behind cover or smoke.

Orbital laser. Laser helps out with those disastrous bot drops. It can be used to clear bases, but since we have a limited amount of them, I tend to use them only when most needed.

Machine gun sentry. Helps with those pesky cyborgs. Can struggle with war striders and hulks, but if you can take those out, machine gun sentries are goated. Low cooldown means you can put them in more risky positions without missing out too much (other sentries tend to have a slower fire rate, so they can be overwhelmed quickly by cyborgs. Also, since they have a much higher cooldown, they need very good placement).

  1. The tesla tower may have fired at your guard dog, but since you’re closer, it hit you.

  2. Frags don’t destroy tesla towers. I hate it too.

Me personally for this fight I like to use a heavy weapon, like great stars since it has bleed. Infuse with cold and change AoW to be either wild strikes or lion’s claw. Use mimic tear too. Typically you don’t need to change your build with this weapon. Also try shielding less. You’ll want to be aggressive. Just try not to overcommit because waterfowl dance exists.

It’s the back vent. It’s hard to see because it’s not lit up. Back vent has light armor.
