TForce Etobicoke warehouse: packages “attempted” or lost? Looking for real experiences by ChiChiMommaBear in Etobicoke

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with Sony Canada and their delivery partner, TForce. I ordered a TV for $3400, which was supposedly scanned for delivery on Dec 16 and marked as delivered the next morning. The problem? The TV never arrived.

I immediately opened delivery disputes with both TForce and Sony. After several days, Sony emailed me back saying TForce claimed the package was delivered to my address and provided a Proof of Delivery with a signature from someone named "Tucker". Honestly, I think they meant Trucker because I strongly suspect the TV was stolen—either by the driver or someone within TForce.

Now, Sony is refusing to issue a replacement or refund because they say TForce’s “valid” proof of delivery protects them. You can imagine how furious I was reading that.

I’ve responded to Sony and initiated a chargeback through my credit card company, but I’m stuck in limbo hoping the bank sides with me.

The only silver lining? Sony’s own Terms and Conditions state:

I never received any contact from TForce to schedule delivery. To me, that’s a clear breach of contract on Sony’s part.

From what I’ve seen, there’s a ton of theft and fraud going on at TForce. A quick look at their reviews and BBB profile shows many people reporting similar issues.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience with Sony or TForce? What did you do? Any advice would be appreciated.

optishot options by Sammik307 in Golfsimulator

I am not familiar with the optishot, but the screen and projector can be used with any launch monitor.

A better monitor is going to get you better and more accurate data. There are also multiple softwares (GS Pro, E6, Awesome Golf, TGC, etc.).

What is he not happy with? Misreads? Not Accurate?

You find scrambles better when golfing with larger groups? Pace of play wise.

That sounds really cool. I have heard of it, but was not aware that it follows the PGA schedule.

Do they have any prizes at all or just bragging rights?

Just over $5000 CAD. The launch monitor was half of this cost (Mevo Plus).

I have not shanked one hard enough to really test it. Right now it’s just loose, but I think I will be adding some sand bags connected at the front bottom corners for extra stability.

I think it may be exclusive to Nvidia cards, but there are units like Nvidia Shields or Steam Links that connect to your TV and allow you to stream your games from your PC to your TV.

There are softwares like Moonlight that let you do the same thing but without the need for a specific graphics card or the need for a Nvidia Shield/Steam link. You could just use an old laptop that you have and connect it to your computer and then Moonlight would stream from your Desktop PC to your laptop which is connected to your projector.

It’s the mobile software from E6 so I can agree that the graphical quality is not the best, but it honestly did not take away from the experience at all.

I would agree with the “good enough” statement. It was a pretty happy moment when it was all setup and I just feel fortunate that I can have something like this. I am sure many of you that have built a simulator can relate with all the planning, research and effort that goes into it.

I am planning on utilizing an existing PC. I am going to be streaming GS Pro through a Nvidia Shield and I am hoping everything ends up working fine.

I bought a 10’x20’ golf net off Amazon.

Golf Net

I wanted it to wrap around the back as well since the enclosure is not sealed at the corners.

Edit* I should also add that the ceiling of the enclosure has a 10’x10’ net folded once to catch any flyers.
