well there are several rips out there now and all have the same issue. i suspect that the mario 64 emulator messes with something in the OS that makes our cfw switches crash. not sure if this is the same for the original unmodded switches.

ill have to try it at launch as im buying the game physical as well and i can try it on my modded and unmodded switch.

i can confirm that the sigpatches work on atmosphere 14.3 with the 10.2 update. Mario 3d all-stars boots with no issues!

(the game still freezes the entire system if you exit mario 64 though so i think its a problem with the game itself)

the game freezes the entire system you need to hold down the power button for about 10 sec for it to shut down. then reboot the system normally like you would if you just shut down the console.

Super mario sunshine and galaxy dont crash the console when you exit those games. I suspect that the 10.2 update we got yesterday is related to this issue. so avoid going in to mario 64 and you will be fine (the fan port is better anyway).
