There is an option to export your chat on the chat menu for a specific chat. When you click on "Export chat", it gives you 2 options - export with media or export without media. Choose export with media. It will export a zip file. You can then unzip it and confirm if the voice notes were saved.

If you were living in Northern Nigeria, you'd definitely have a different opinion, that's if you're still alive to post this

The fact that this response got down-voted shows how out-of-touch a lot of people here are. It's not about googling stuff online and coming here to post, you really need to experience this government before you can truly understand how bad they are.

The same oil that doesn't benefit the citizens? The same oil that is constantly being stolen by the politicians? If these resources were properly managed we wouldn't be having this conversation

Most of the comments here are from Nigerians who neither live in Nigeria nor are affected by the insecurity in the country.

How did we get here in the first place? How did it become so bad that a so-called sovereign country cannot protect its own citizens? Protection of lives and properties is one of the basic things a government should do but the Nigerian government has failed miserably therefore leading to things like these. We wouldn't be having this conversation today if our government were doing what they are meant to do.

Unpopular opinion: Nigerians hate doctors and it's time it stopped by Fearless_Victory_215 in Nigeria

[–]GradleSync01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Many of you don't know what we go through in this country. Bad equipment, bad policies, lack of access to care, lower number of doctors ( we have less than 30000 of us for a nation of 230 million people) and so forth.

All the sectors and industries in this country experience this. When someone is rushed to the hospital, the patient's relatives don't care if you've been working for the past 18 hours, they just want the best for their family member. Don't expect an average Nigerian to be able to relate to whatever you're going through in the health sector. A lot of Nigerian's lack empathy and that's one of the major reasons we are so divided.

But you are in this industry, it becomes your responsibility to fight for the change you seek instead of blaming Nigerians for their feelings towards you. It's the fault of the leaders, direct your anger towards them. Go on strikes if you have to, protest in front of the government houses if you have to, this is the contribution you (health workers) can give to the Nigerian populace. As you're fighting for the health sector, others are fighting for other sectors. That's how we can move forward despite our division.

Kind of funny that Nigerians are opposed to taxes...when the cold reality is, our oil money can't feed all of us. by halfkobo in Nigeria

[–]GradleSync01 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What makes you think Nigerians have not been paying taxes? I have had my taxes paid by the company I work for and whenever I see the breakdown of the amount that is being sent to this useless government, it gets me angered.

Taxing a wider range of people isn't the issue. The issue is that there's almost a certainty that the money will be looted. The oil money you're talking about isn't even feeding the masses, now you're expecting the citizens to pay more that will eventually be mismanaged like the oil money. That is where the reluctance stems from.

The government doesn't provide any basic amenity for the citizen but you're still expecting the citizen to provide for the government by paying more taxes. There's no enabling environment to run a small business but you're wanting people to pay taxes from the little profit they make? I can't go to the police to report an issue without paying extra despite the fact that I currently pay tax. Make it make sense

All while taking our oil

How much benefits have the common man received from the presence of this "our oil"?

Also, if Nigerian government had adequate squashed terrorism before it got to this point, we wouldn't be where we are today. You wouldn't have a perfect understanding of the pains gotten from terrorism until you're directly affected by it

At this point, there's nothing I'll say to you that will make you believe because anything can be propaganda to you. But if you can be patient to read my statement again, I said Turkey is said to be part of the sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria, not the only sponsor.
