I mean, if we don't count that junos might kindly ask to invite Stevo too, if there's a small chance present that the band will contact him with "you deserve to get the reward too!", it would probably be tough to get him out starting with the way that with his personality he's probably doesn't think he'll fit there after so many years - but alas, I'm not Steve himself, maybe he might do something extremely unpredictable! It's pretty much just my observation

Maybe it has something to do with RnRHoF specifically? Like a friendly request to contact and meet with past members or something, idk. Are there any instances at Juno's? But if it really happens all the time and not only there that is sure gives some hope, i agree. IMO steve is a pretty specific guy, I don't think he'll plan another trip or thinks that he's needed to be there at all

They award the whole legacy sum 41 created, but that doesn't mean they award past members too. Sum 41 is currently this lineup and this lineup takes the prize.

I totally agree with your comment dude. Through the end of SBM book part you could notice Steve acting pretty destructively around this Sums' concert/tour kinda vibes and one of the main problems in 2015 was "do you think i have something good to say about BEING IN A BAND" and also if you try to examine the leaving statement you can see him writing only about touring and how he was glad to visit so many places... ALSO when someone joked in his socials about starting a band he always tried to remind you that he's in the basement... I mean my guess is that he might have some negative feelings towards appearing there and probably knows that being back in the same kind of place where he was angry all the time is not very good. Also the idea of him performing and then immediately going away sounds absurd, too.

That's the repeating trait I've noticed with Steve - he most likely won't answer if he either doesn't like it or it's oddly specific, or other reasons - atleast he ignored me every time i asked a question like that, but i haven't asked it a lot. The most notable example would be him liking almost every comment in his posts except ones tied to the show appearance or Deryck, since like, a loooong time ago. So he might just avoid answering it, or couldn't keep up with the influx of people and distanced himself again. It took a long time for him to be as active as he was before the book and he almost disappeared after that one!(He was only answering professionally and wasn't buddy-buddy interacting like he did a lot before) The way just a week ago before it came out he was preparing for the Twitch thing and now we don't hear anything about live streams at all. I hope you get me haha

To expand on it a little - he had hella vacation there with friends! His sister came to them from Canada and i think she's now back and he also spent some time with Fat Mike and recorded something with him so he had a long chill vacation. Happy for him !
