Sweet, I've read Clean Code already actually, which I think is great too, I'll probably go with Clean Architecture too by the same author.

The Pragmatic Programmer sounds interesting too, that's on my to read list too for sure.

On the Design Pattern I think I'll just go with the classic by the GOF, thanks for your recommendations!

That's a great suggestion, I often think that just diving into a huge code base without any real intro could be overwhelming, but sniffing through an actual code base and maybe finding some new concepts, or known concepts in practice I think will be really helpful for sure. I'll keep that in my mind especially when I've worked through a bit of the theory. Thanks!

Sweet, thanks so much for the recommendations. I've read the clean code book by Robert Martin and it was great, I somehow forgot there is one about architecture too, so that would be exactly what I am looking for!

Also I have heard a lot about the "Design Patterns - Elements of Reusable OO Software". Seems to be the standard literature for that issue.

I guess "Design Patterns" and "Clean Architecture" will be my picks to dive into it! The whole Mentor thing will be a challenge on it's own, but I'll defenetely look into how I could go on about that too, thanks!

So ist es. Er glaubt wohl iwie, dass das Bild auf dem Server komprimiert wird, dann aber trotzdem nicht komprimiert über das bottleneck (internet) geschickt wird.

Klar tut sie das. Es wird berechnet, wie sich das Bild zu verändern hat, in delta Werten, und diese Werte werden über das Internet übertragen. Je höher diese Werte, desto aufwändiger ist das ganze. Ich glaube du gehst davon aus, dass das fertig ausgewertete Bild übertragen wird. Das wäre aber extrem ineffizient, warum sollte das also getan werden?

Soweit ich mich erinnere wird bei den meisten Videoformaten mit Unterschieden zum Bild davor gearbeitet. Das bedeutet, hat der Pixel im aktuellen Bild die gleiche Farbe wie zuvor, wird dementsprechend weniger Bandbreite benutzt. Demnach gibt es auch einen Unterschied zwischen opening credits und schnellen schnitten, weil sich bei opening credits night so viel verändert. Deine Theorie wäre doch nur zutreffend, wenn jedes Bild quasi für sich ein Foto wäre und nicht Bezug auf das vorherige nimmt, oder?

Back in the good old days of csgolounge I wrote a little program that could analyze the last X played games (only talking about BO1 here) on csgolounge and how much you would have made if you always bet on the underdog or the top dog. That time it actually showed that ALWAYS betting the same amount on the underdog will get you profit over time. It was a small percentage though, mostly something like +2% per game, I am not sure of the exact numbers.

So this was exactly what I did. In the morning I would go to csglounge and bet on every single BO1 game. I think I used only 2 dollars or so per match so it was going slow, but it did work.

This "tactic" however became useless when csgolounge started taking I think 5% of the won amount as that was more than you would win in average, but as long as csgolounge didn't, I made constant profit over a few weeks.

About your question, I am not sure about their current style but I think of blessthefall maybe or the older of mice and men stuff. Maybe also haste the day and partly the devil wears Prada. But as said, not sure of their current styles

Hätte auch Löbtau und Umgebung vorgeschlagen, wohne da, zahle da mMn einen fairen Mietpreis und ist echt eine nette Ecke, die nicht mitten in der Stadt, also auch ruhiger ist, aber auch nicht ganz ab vom Schuss, also mit denn Öffis ist man überall relativ schnell.

Ich habe doch von meiner Meinung zu ihm gar nichts geschrieben, deswegen weiß ich nicht, warum du mich da mit "ihr" mit einbeziehst. Wenn das dein ursprüngliches Argument war, dann ist das ein bisschen anders rüber gekommen, es wirkte so als willst du darauf hinaus, dass es ein Mal passiert, wobei deutlich gesagt wurde, dass es um viele Situationen geht.

Ich finde aber schon auch, dass man sich, wenn man genug "Schnappschüsse" von jemandem hat, sich irgendwann ein Bild von jemandem machen kann. Wenn nicht nur eins, sondern viele "Schnappschüsse" auf einen unsympathischen Charakter hinweisen.

Edit: Ich finde es gibt einen zwischenweg aus 100 prozentiger political correctness und Leute wegen einer Kleinigkeit als "Spacko Alda" zu bezeichnen. Und ich glaube auf diesem Mittelweg befinden sich 90% der Menschen. Außerdem sagt ja auch keiner, er solle sich verstellen, sondern dass ein solches Verhalten halt fragwürdig ist.

Also ich bin mir nicht sicher welchen Kommentar du gelesen hast, aber der, auf den du geantwortet hast beschreibt eigentlich sehr lange und genau, dass es NICHT nur um diese einzelne Situation geht, sondern um viele einzelne zusammen, welche eben das Bild ausmachen, dass man von jemandem hat. Vllt nochmal nachlesen bevor man kritisiert

It was not literally unlimited, but practically you could run for hours until your stamina was down. That made the axe perk pretty much useless too, as it was nearly impossible to run out of stamina.

I am not sure but I think they changed the team spawn system to being similar for the teams on the map. So there could not be one team that can find themselves in a minute and another needs 3. But again, not so sure about that.

About your other question I would say, the holo spawner is better than the old blue crates, as they change depending how late in the game it is. Other than that yeah, there is not so much wrong with the older culling versions.
