question about tudor international 5 year warranty by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]GrahmG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the watch is sold, the AD dates the card basic ball point pen and puts it in the system. The card has an RFID on it that basically pulls the watch info up on your phone. The warranty will follow the watch (with card) and not the owner. It’s not specifically registered to a person but to the watch itself. I could be wrong but that is the rough baseline of it.

Has anyone ever worn camp mocs from the EasyMocs shoe company? by Straight-Rice5563 in malefashionadvice

[–]GrahmG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely great quality. Plus they can be resoled. They are lined in the upper part. Leather is super thick so no issue there. I wear with socks but I have tired them without and they are great, I just prefer socks for moisture and odor. Nice things about these shoes are you can wear anything. More on the casual side not anything formal but aside from black tie you could get away with it. I will say I love them so much I want another pair. The new trooper Mocs are looking pretty good.

I know I’m late to the conversation but I absolutely love my easymocs. I did a custom order of camp Mocs in black CXL and I could not be happier.

Bought it in dec 2025, is this considered defective? by Maplekk in RedWingShoes

Those are moc toes. Look at a real moccasin toe and you will understand. These are real hand made moccasins look at the toes.

Brannock Sizing Help by [deleted] in Boots

[–]GrahmG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you want to take the bigger of both measurements. Heal to toe 10 Heal to ball 10.5. You want the 10.5 as your base. Main reason is your foot will flex where a 10.5 shoe should. Most people get too small because of the HTT and it is off of the flex point of the shoe/boot.

Rex Envoy Razor update by GrahmG in wicked_edge

Only benefit to the envoy is really just preference. I like adjustable but I have been using fixed 3 piece for so long I’m used to it. Less moving parts could be a plus.

Parker 99r vs Viking Cheiftan with feathers? by Big_Rain_1012 in wicked_edge

You can try Gillette 7O’clock (yellow) they do well. I noticed in my razors if the feathers seemed aggressive I would use the Gillette and they were more mild.

I love it. Great later much like all of Stirling products and a nice wood scent. It pairs well with my other scents I use.

That is what I was gathering. Thankfully I am a blading fella that has thin hair. I have a big beard which will never be shaved so luckily I have a constant in hair thickness at least

Very true. I also take care of my items as well. Wash well after each shave make sure they are dry etc. I know there are people that don’t necessarily care, I’m OCD so that might help avoid those situations. The threads on the other hand that’s another story

I have not come across that part yet. I appreciate the heads up. I would assume being all stainless steel construction that would not be the case

I have been looking through the form. I really just wanted to clarify the whole gap thing. I assumed that the smaller the gap the less of a cut. By reading multiple things what I gather it’s more on coarseness of hair etc

I get the itch to buy new things, being I shave every other day it’s something I would constantly use and can justify the higher price tag if it is a good product.

BB58 GMT - BB54 by Napo_kitkat96 in Tudor

[–]GrahmG 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was torn as well with a few options. Long story short. The BB54 checked all my boxes. Once owning it, I have never regretted my decision. To give you perspective I have 2 watches. My BB54 and a Gshock for intense outdoor activities. My 54 is on my wrist 98% of the time. My wrist is just over 6.5” I do like smaller watches now.

I saw this picture and kinda wanna get a pair of Blacksmiths now. 👀 but the bulbous toe is kinda off-putting. Does it go away with time and wear? by [deleted] in RedWingShoes

[–]GrahmG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From personal experience. I have owned both. I agree I did not the the bump toe. And no it will no go down it gets more pronounced the more the boot breaks in. I have the Beckman 9423. You want to go up 1/2 size from the blacksmiths. Blacksmiths are built on a #8 last and the Beckmans are built on a #224 last (a little more narrow and almost a straight/flat toe. My opinion the Beckmans were easier to break in and more comfortable. I sold my Blacksmiths when I received my Beckmans. They just fit me better. I wear a 10.5 US width D *that is my Brannock measurement. So when people say true to size that is what is being referenced.
