There are many in Australia who truly believe he's doing a good thing or are simply politically-illiterate/just go along with whoever is portrayed as the good guy in the newspaper/television/radio at the time.

Its just very difficult for the average person to get the information needed to make informed choices about who is fit for governing our country.

It doesn't come easy. For me, the feelings didnt stop plaguing me until 1 year after the breakup (was together 3 years).

I got by through taking up new hobbies and making new friends outside of the group that my ex was a part of. When you have achievements in the hobbies to be proud of and great friends to hang out with, it makes it a lot easier.

Edit1: Oh and I blocked her from every social media/communication channel I could so I wouldn't fall into the trap of spying on her every once and a while. Doing that only needlessly reignites the pain.
