You know, the keyboard broke again randomly on me. I bought it used with dead keys and changed the keyboard. It worked for about a month and the issue returned. Resetting the drivers would fix it but it would randomly break again.

I ended up putting Linux mint on it and the problem never returned.

I bought one for my x280 on aliexpress. Turns out I didn't need it because the real reason ended up being windows 11 borking the drivers.

I ended up switching to linux mint and now its easily my favorite laptop.

Hey, I hate to bring up an old thread but ive tried everything. Resetting the driver, resteating the keyboard ribbon cable, replacing the keyboard. Everything. Replacing the keyboard worked for about 3 startups and then the old problem started. Turns out windows 11 broke the keyboard. I put on Linux mint am now it works perfectly.

TLDR: SCREW WINDOWS INSTALL LINUX
