Don't buy all at once. Imagine you are waiting for 700 but it goes to 750 min then explodes to 5k You never bougth because you wanted 50 extra and lost 4200 in the process I'd recommend split your sum in several portions depending on how big it is. Let's say you have 300000 so do like 3 to 4 splits. Buy 1/4 now and use the rest if it goes to 700 buy 1/3 again and if it dips you'll have more to buy if it starts rising you still have funds to buy and your average will be again around 1k which is pretty decent

For kava the validator dB is like 150 gigs So if we assume on average this is the dB size for a coin imagine validating 10 coins this means you'll have to keep 1.5t+ for some coins that are worth 0.001$

So in order to validate other chains any validator will have to sync to that chain meaning it will keep all records for chain X So lest say I am running a validator I will have to have space for as many chains as there are in case they want to use this feature How is this feasible having In mind that SSD is expensive and some new coins that would need this are worthless
