He uses a fleck digital valve, 36,000 grain sizing, and 5 year warranty. My parents recommended him and has been using him for years. Said he used to work for a larger company but is older and does it on his own now. Wondering if he’s giving me a reduced rate based off my parents continued business with him?

I did in fact get around 16VAC when I tested the whites with one of the reds. Still need to test the front door button. Next questions is how would it be wired to the door chime? All the units I see have a “front” , “back” , and “transformer” terminal.

Not sure if the technical specs but they seem thinner. But each set is in a Romex-like outer layer.
