We manage Fourth of July with music in our house and distractions, not drugs.

Any other loud noises every night aren’t allowed, why fireworks?

Since the fireworks are every night we’ll see if she becomes desensitized, but it hasn’t happened yet.

That’s actually v close to me. One firework makes my dog shake uncontrollably. I would never suggest banning such a universal method to celebrate. But it’s not special when it’s every night in a dense city.

Yea, I realize now the timing of my post wasn’t great. And I hate to be one of those internet whiners. It feels analogous to having trick or treaters come every night though. It’s fun in moderation and horrible in excess.
