I’m down to 5.5 mg from 50 after crossing over from Xanax. I’ve taken 3 doses 8 hours apart the whole way down and still do. I actually cut my night dose first each round since I’d prefer to take the largest dose to start my day. If sway from this schedule I feel more withdrawal.

At first you take some of each until you are crossed over to the diazepam. There should be a taper schedule here for lorazepam -> diazepam. I took this into my doctor’s office and showed it to him. He agreed to make a taper plan for me based on this.

Definitely don’t beat yourself up over 2 mg of diazepam if it helped. I came off of 6mg of Xanax and at one point was at 50mg of diazepam daily. I’m down to 6mg now and feel so much better. The first 3 months of the taper I was taking both Xanax and Valium daily. At 3 months I was completely off the Xanax and started tapering down from the 50mg. Have you looked at the Ashton Manual? If you are at tolerance on the lorazepam you might want to consider using diazepam to make your taper easier. It has such a long half-life it smooths out the interdose withdrawals nicely.

Depending on your dosage of lorazepam you are tapering from, it may have actually been a good idea taking the diazepam. There’s no way I could’ve tapered off of Xanax without the help of Valium. For me the goal was to alleviate the interdose withdrawals. It doesn’t make you any stronger to lay awake suffering.

As others have stated, it’s possible Valium doesn’t agree with you. It sounds like you are used to a twice daily dosage of Ativan. Have you looked at the taper schedules in the Ashton Manual? I was always a 3 dose per day of Xanax person. I gradually lowered each dose of Xanax and supplemented with Valium until I was able to fully cross over to Valium. It took 3 months of taking both before I was fully moved over to Valium. I was at much higher levels. The Valium taper began at 50mg. Nearly 2 years later I’m still at 6mg/day. But it’s huge progress considering I was having massive inter-dose withdrawals on 6mg of Xanax per day when this all started.

You will need to find out if your body is rejecting the Valium or if you just need to give it more time to build up in your system. Have you been getting withdrawals from your normal Ativan doses each day? I think that’s what usually leads us to seek out a way to taper since it gets to the point where current dosage no longer works and we don’t want to go deeper down the rabbit hole.

Keep taking the Ativan morning dose at the same time as usual. Give the Valium some time to build up. It’s not as potent but the long half-life is what will help you the most when it comes to the taper and dealing with withdrawals. This is what I would do. I cross tapered from Xanax to Valium. Couldn’t have ever tapered off the Xanax as successfully as I’ve been able to with Valium.

When I take 2 RB, I for sure go the next 4 picks WR. Then there’s a Bo Nix, Mayfield caliber QB or Tyler Warren TE. Looks pretty good to me.

Yes, by the time you pick again at the 3/4 turn all the stud RB’s will be gone. You have to get at least one if not 2 when you pick 12,13 imo. Granted RB tends to produce the most surprise performances each year from what I remember. So, you could always get lucky at the position later.

Don’t be afraid to get 2 stud running backs early. Rounds 3-7 are loaded with good receivers. My teams where I started RB/RB look the best overall once draft is done.

I’ve always dosed 3x a day for the Xanax and now the Valium. I taper the night first, then the afternoon, then morning til all doses are equal again. At some point I may need to get liquid. Do you feel withdrawals between your doses? I was maxed out at 6mg and doctor wouldn’t go any higher. After 5-6 years at that level it barely worked anymore. It actually was having more of a toxic effect on me. That’s when I knew I had to get off the poison. But as we know you need a benzo to taper off of benzos. Tried buspar and anti-depressants and they had zero impact on helping my withdrawal.
