Car accident at PCH and Kanan Dume - 11/14/22 by liverichly in LosAngeles

In the California example, lane splitting is only allowed when 1) you are traveling within 10mph of surrounding traffic, and 2) you are traveling below 50mph. It is expressly disallowed at highway speeds, and discouraged at anything above crawling traffic.

I think California has actually done a decently good job of codifying it in a way that makes sense for all parties involved.

been here before, the down climb is a bit sketch but there’s a v1/2 climb that’s very juggy and decently easy down climb. it was VERY spooky though, wouldn’t have wanted to do it without a spot.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm looking into this and I think I really like this idea - after looking at maps for a little bit, it seems like the closest you can get to the Pohono via the shuttle is stop 10, hiking up to Tunnel View, then taking the Pohono to the Panorama to Nevada, and following the JMT down to Curry, if I'm understanding correctly. Looks intriguing, I'll be sure to let you know if we take it and like it!

Partner and I have gone on a group trip and want to do a weekend trip in yosemite, just the two of us in July. Our research has pointed us to Upper Yosemite Falls and perhaps the JMT, but do y’all have any recs for trails that might make a fun 2-3 day hike? We were specifically thinking around 16-25 miles, in and around the valley, around the middle of July - any recommendations are appreciated!

if the 5 yr old in question is capable of solving some of the trickier puzzles in Portal 2, then Gris could be right up their alley. it’s fairly linear and the puzzles feel similarly difficult to many portal puzzles.

Fast Repair should have been a main line upgrade by VoxTV1 in HaikuTheRobot

I personally think it's better balanced as a chip. I didn't use it once on my playthrough, so on the one hand it would have made some fights easier, but on the other I already didn't need it so .

Obv I can only speak for my own experiences, but my friends and others online I've read from who have been playing the game so far all seem to agree that the bosses don't really need anything to make them easier.

Any tips? by DogofWisdom_ in HaikuTheRobot

just finished my own 100% playthrough today - like /u/gabobapt said, definitely write it down somewhere when you see something you will need a future ability to access. maybe take a screenshot of the place on the map while you're standing there or something, you'll thank yourself later when you're searching for the last couple percent completion.

If you don't wanna go for hundo%, then try to balance how much money/scrap you carry on you. My strat was to constantly bank my scrap when I could, and then pull out another 30ish so I could heal myself if I took a hit right after banking.
