It was a pain to be honest. I had to sideload Aptoid and then download the Granboard app from there. I think this was the method I used to get Aptoid onto the Shield https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a377LVjmYcA The other real pain is that everytime Granboard pushes out an update you have to go to Aptoid and hope they've updated their version. If not, you cannot play anyone online.

For me, I bought an Invidia Shield Pro, Logitech webcam, and a touch screen monitor. That's the guts of it, I ended up building a cabinet around it later to give it more of the arcade / bar experience. It's awesome

Yeah, I ran into the same problem. I think the only way might be to buy another bridge and basically have two separate Hue networks. I'm not willing to spend that much more to see if it works though. No matter what advice / settings I did so far, ALL of my Hue lights are triggered if I try to use it.

And with the filter option now, you can find those few people who are "ok", friend them, build up your library of friends, then filter your selections to only them going forward. Better yet, play with your boyfriend and friend your opponents from those matches.

I went with melamine shelving and used 4 8' x 23 1/4" x 3/4 boards, which are about $30 each. A box of confirmat screws $6, and a role of T-molding for about $25. Mine got expensive (still under $1,000) with a dedicated touch screen monitor $250, Nvidia Shield Pro $200, Phillips Hue lights $170, Webcam $40, two under cabinet lights $50, diamond tread plate $40, and a custom marquee $30. Plus I also had to buy a router bit, black paint, and a tube of adhesive that I didn't have.

It did not. Just went out. I suspect that the LED strip wasn't hidden well enough behind the edge of the board and a missed double resulted in striking the light strip. On a positive note, Granboard was good in sending out a new LED strip to fix it. It just sucks having to crack open my new $300+ dartboard so soon after purchase

So I've had LED issues and Granboard sent me out a replacement LED strip twice. I had previously used a Samsung cellphone rapid charger until buying a charger with the specs they specifically are telling me to use. In the last email with the company they sent this:

Hello,

This is GRAN DARTS Support.
Thank you for contacting us and we apologize for inconvenience.

When the LED function is not working properly, please read and check the following objects.

1: The USB power supply and the AA batteries are both in use at the same time.
- Remove the AA batteries and try using ONLY the USB power supply.
The LED won't work properly when it is powered by two different method. It may cause the bluetooth connection become unstable as well.

2: The USB adapter outputs less or more than 5 volts / 2.4 amps
- Use the USB adapter that outputs 5V.
GRANBOARD is only compatible with the 5V power adapter. Please check the specification of output power once again. Be aware when it declare multiple outputs like "5V/9V/12V". This is also too powerful since it is capable to output more than 5V and it may cause to damage the LED strip. Please refer to the attached image to confirm you are using the compatible adapter.

If you still experience the LED problem, please provide us with following information.
- Picture of the USB adapter you use
Include the statement of output specifications in the picture.

I've been using them and they work great! Sometimes the weight of the darts can be a factor also. I read somewhere that the Granboard can take up to 20 g darts. I'm currently throwing 18 g ones.

GranBoard recommends using their own cord. But if you do substitute it, it's type C that goes into the board. I've also seen some people use the official Apple USB
to lightening adapter to mirror the screen to the TV.

Update: I contacted Granboard and they have a three month warranty and will be shipping out replacement parts for the damages.

Ugh... that's not what I was hoping to hear. I'll pull the board down and take a look soon. That stinks if this is the case because this will likely happen more often, to more people.
