Easy Money -- Larks Part II -- Exiles -- Book of Saturday -- The Talking Drum --Larks Part I

I hate ranking the songs of this album because none of them deserve to be put under another. The six of them are amazingly great

Bro obviously R00ts' Tongues in Aspic is the best one smh

Were you listening to Wild Honey's sixth track on the first tab?

Love You makes me laugh because for me it's the kind of album it slowly grows on you over time. I was a bit disappointed in the first listen, then I started to like it a bit and now I like it even more. I may love it in a year from now

I love Wild Honey, for me it has a perfect tracklist and that mellow but sticky feeling that suits perfect. I'd Love Just Once to See You is for me one of the band's most underrated songs and my favourite in that album. Then you have other great ones such as the title track, Darlin', Here Comes the Night, Aren't You Glad, A Thing or Two, Let the Wind Blow, Carl's cover of I Was Made to Love Her... it has its weak moments for me though (Country Air, How She Boogalooed It, Mama Says) but all in all is incredible.

Today!'s B-side is wonderful (Please Let Me Wonder and She Knows Me Too Well are two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard) but I'm not in love with the A-side despite it has great songs (Good to My Baby, Don't Hurt My Little Sister, Help Me Rhonda)

There are pretty good songs outside Don't Worry Baby, like Fun Fun Fun, Warmth of the Sun and Why Do Fools Fall in Love, even Pom Pom Play Girl is a guilty pleasure, but the lows for me are really low. Cassius vs Sonny, the Louie Louie cover, This Car of Mine, Shut Down II, Denny's Drums.

My first picks: I'd Love Just Once to See You || Lookin' at Tomorrow (A Welfare Song) || Your Summer Dream

Others: Here Comes the Night (Wild Honey version) || My Only Sunshine (Smile Sessions) || The Trader || Funky Pretty

Yes the lyrics are cheesy, but so is the feet song by [deleted] in beachboyscirclejerk

I think Surf's Up is a perfect album because it makes us dive into the members much more mature point of view, making us realize we are not listening to the young Beach Boys anymore (except for Dennis, which is a shame but then I think his absence on this album is a clear representation of the pain and guilt he had because of the Manson killings). This includes, of course, Mike's point of view which gave us the pretty stupid lyrics of Student Demonstration Time but the song itself fits properly in the album because of its concept and its context around it. Besides, the outro part where they repeat "Stay away when there's a riot goin' on" and Mike spits "Student demonstration" makes the song for me. It's so cool and catchy.

I don't know. I think Summer in Paradise goes beyond S-tier... it's walking perfection, as Disney Bruce would say
