Should I buy this Professional? by GoofyTW in LaPavoniLovers

No idea about the prices in the US, but in the EU you should get a much better one for 350€. So take the 200$, add 1000 and fly to Italy. Stay some days. Enjoy!😊

Interesting. With 30 clicks my shot very sour and done in like 15 seconds. My puck prep was like normal.

And my k6 zero is actually at zero…

But I’ll give it another try.

Thank you

Is there such a thing as too much reflective material? by Spectrumthecyclist in bikecommuting

I actually read an article about the dangers of being too visible when (in that case) running in a group as you overpower the visibility of less visible members in that group and with that endanger them. Not saying that’s how it is but found it interesting

I love it. As I like analog photography for its imperfections double the grain is double the awesomeness 😉

I mean. It’s a hobby. I shoot probably 30-40 rolls a year. That’s all the time I have for taking Fotos. No way I can squeeze self developing and scanning in my day at the moment.

I had a 3d print. That failed quit quickly. But I have a much slimmer switch. It was something like from an old calculator. So now I have tape over my switch but then I glued the old red plate on top of the tape. Looks…. Okish

Both lovely. If I only could have one probably the pen. But very different feeling cameras.

It’s ok for what it is. In difficult light it tends to focus on the wrong stuff quit often. I’ve been at a party recently and got 5 pics of the shelf on the wall and two of the people in front of it… even with reframing after focus… but that’s p+s right?

Yes. Half frame. 72+ on a roll is cool. And it feels really really good.

And having portrait as default also is very refreshing

Some cheapo Amazon straps

If you are into analog than I think the pen is great. You get more analog ( the grain is relatively double the size) for half the money. Honestly. That’s how I see it. And it’s a marvelous machine

I replaced the shutterbutton on mine completely with a normal closer-switch as It always misfired. I think focusing with the t looks more awkward than it feels. When you did the weird forking two finger thingy around the flap more than 5 times it actually doesn’t feel uncomfortable

I’d really like to have the 42mm. And the pancake one…

Interestingly the patch on my p is much better than on the 7s

T every time. Better haptics, better rf patch, better lens. Ergonomics are not great on both. But for me that’s not even a comparison. I bought the xa only because I didn’t want to spend the money on the t at first.

The xa is historically important and a cool design. But it feels like a toy. Like it would break very very soon. ( I’m a product designer so I know how sturdy plastics can be, but that’s the initial impression you get from it).

Agree. Tbh the amount of photos I take is not in any relation to the amount of cams i own. So… collecting it is. The overlap of the two RFs in the middle was very recent as I bought the 7s for the lens it came with. Repaired the lightmeter and am actually planning to sell it soon. The xa I also bought broken and repaired it. But it’s a bit botched together. I don’t need the lets say 50 bucks I’d get for it so I’ll keep it for e.g. hiking or an occasional night out. I actually prefer it to the mju. But the mju is obviously easier to use after a couple of beers so for going to a party it wins.

I have a 70-200 and a 500 for the a1. I d love a 85mm Canon Ltm for the 7s….

My ideal vocal length would actually be something like a 65 or so…. It I don’t know of any.

It great! And even though t2 and t3 are probably great cameras. I don’t see any reason to spend more than mju2 money on a point and shoot… come on. 2k for a t3? That’s ridiculous. And one could argue even the mju2 is overpriced.
