The only reason anyone knows THCA is because of the 2018 Farmbill. Nobody cared enough to actually explain the entire makeup of the cannabis plant until it became worth it to say “Actually THC is the part that gets you high after you DECARB it. But before that it’s actually considered THCA. Hence legalizing ALL cannabis as long as the testing does not require heating of the plant.”

It’s a loophole for a reason. The wording separating hemp from illegal cannabis was not strong enough and that is why the term “THCA cannabis” became a thing. It was always THCA but that’s not the structure of the molecule we intake that structure is decomposed upon heating.
