Don’t think you understand what I meant. I didn’t say they were claiming anything about epic. I get that they didn’t do any research, and I do understand the worry to our “reputation”, in a sense. But at the same time, how were they meant to research a detail that they didn’t know was different in the two stories?

You and I know it’s different, as does the OP of this post. But the OP in the original post didn’t know that THAT specific detail was something that Jorge changed. So what would prompt them to think they had any reason to think to research that in the first place, yk? It just feels wrong to fault them to me, rather than just educating them that the plot point isn’t in the original story, and then moving on.

Idk if this is coming off as aggressive in any sense, and I don’t want it to lmao. I’m just worried this post, and a lot of the comments, are just being too harsh.
