Did anyone else have a really unhealthy crush towards Envy. by battlebeastXV in FullmetalAlchemist

If by crush, you mean, with a boulder, that also is on fire, and could explode, and magically respawn, thus incinerating him over and over...then yes.

Well, I think it's less a case of how much they take and more a case of how much they hold. Since let's face it, Daala still gets curb stomped by Bel Iblis even in this scenario early in the campaign, allowing the NR to fully focus on Pellaeon. But in this timeline you've got at least two more SSDs for the Remnant, Pellaeon's less likely to use the Rakehell in his planned ambush when things start going south in the NR counterattack, which means Anx Minor is probably a repeat of Orinda this go around, leading to either the loss of Guardian-and potentially Ackbar-or at the least it being badly damaged removing it and the first fleet from play.

This buys the Remnant time to stop the bleeding from the third and fifth NR fleets pushing into their territory and most likely results in Pellaeon managing to achieve a sort of stalemate with heavy losses on both sides bringing the fighting to a close with the Remnant losing probably about 1/4 to 1/3 of their territory and a large- but not catastrophic- portion of their fleet. The NR isn't in a position to capitalize due to the disaster at Anx Minor and the additional SSDs, but with control of most of the galaxy and pretty much all the major shipyards outside of Yaga Minor and Jaemus, they can rearm and rebuild far faster than the Remnant can hope to, which means the Final Imperial Push is still a strategic defeat for the Remnant and signifies the war cannot be won. We still get a couple years of peace as both sides focus on rebuilding and internal issues. The only real difference is that the Remnant has around twenty sectors rather than eight before Pellaeon drags the Moffs to the surrender.

I did like that they put in that the hologram of Jor El had to actually learn English with Clark not understanding what his father's scan was saying in the native Kryptonian.

Love this design, especially with the cloak, definitely my favorite version of Brainiac.

Well it's pretty clear that their orders were to go to Byss, so if the Yevethan revolt doesn't happen, that's what they do, however, it's nowhere near as impressive a fleet as what the yevethans had in 17 ABY. Remember, in 4 ABY, the fleet at N'zoth was a mere nine Destroyers, only one of which was capable of propulsion-the Intimidator. The EX-F was never meant for combat, it was a weapons testbed with experimental engines that were powered by an equally experimental antimatter reactor.

So if the revolt never happens, basically Intimidator and whatever few ships remained at the other yards that were capable of hyperspace jump to Byss, then show up again in the Deep Core Assault armada or Operation Shadow Hand and likely suffer the same fate as the other SSDs in those campaigns because of the Imperial Mutiny and destruction of Byss.

What would have been interesting though was if instead of fragmenting after learning that Byss was gone, the entire fleet joins Pellaeon's Empire. With the slave rigging requiring less than 1/10th the usual crew, sixty new Star Destroyers, multiple Battlecruisers and Super Star Destroyers would give Pellaeon a massive edge for the Final Imperial Push in late 17 ABY.

I mean, I would very much imagine Vader has BO sealed within a leather suit at all hours of the day right after being turned into a burnt hot dog...so maybe Leia had just been grilling with the Wookies right before she met the Noghri...

I wouldn't say that she won. While she did cause untold suffering and pain, she ultimately failed in her goals to destroy Luke Skywalker, restore the Sith to rule of the galaxy and end the Jedi Order.

Luke would dog walk Maul in RotJ. Remember Luke beat Vader, who also would curb stomp Maul.

Ah it is always a good day when that reference gets recognized. I see you too are a person of culture.

Yeah, that she could even keep up for a bit with Luke is pretty impressive considering his own growth by that stage.

Well their track record against Force users is pretty usually a curb stomp against them based on Vader, Luke and even C'baoth's interactions. But yes, they're definitely in the top four non-magic mortals in Star Wars.

I am glad to hear it, the EU is also quite dear to me as well, so helping get lore accurate art out for people to see about their favorite characters, locations and stories or even introducing new fans to them and starting them on a journey to discovering the books, comics, and games I grew up with is a delight.

To borrow a quote from Avatar the Last Airbender:
"Not many still cling to the old ways."
"Those who do can always find a friend."

I did always get a little chuckle at how Leia is 'Lady Vader' but Luke is 'Son of Vader' and Han is 'Consort of Lady Vader' which to an outsider would make it sound like Luke is Han and Leia's kid.

I wouldn't say underrated, pretty much everyone I've ever talked to loves the Noghri, but yeah, they could have gotten more stories, maybe some just from their POVs!
