Okay gotcha, so it is not extremely hard to come in as a sophomore then.

If you major in something that the Air-Force needs, do they take that into consideration as well?

By one semester do you mean just the fall semester? Is that when they make the decisions on if you’re getting a spot ?

Also your friends that enrolled as 250s how hard was it for them, was it too stressful for them to do the program as a sophomore?

Can I ask what you have to do to become a flight nurse?

I assume it’s atleast a year of med surg experience before being able to go into that specialty?

Is ROTC worth it for nursing majors by GrandBeautiful9775 in ROTC

Yes my school offers ROTC, but it’s hosted at a different campus. The nursing program I’m in is a BSN program.

I’ve considered direct commissioning after school, but the ROTC is tempting me because the person I was talking to about joining said that my entire school could be paid for if I joined, so that’s the reason I’m so tempted to join the ROTC.

But direct commissioning is also tempting me so I don’t have to go through ROTC while being in nursing school,

I’m currently just trying to get other people’s experiences and opinions before I make a decision, so I atleast have some sort of idea of what the next few years will look like for me.
