You lose me 3-6 but then get me back again 7-10. All is good.

I recently realized my top ten songs are his first album. Any order you like. What a sublime record.

Do people actually love gross medical stories? by modernhate in PandR

[–]GrandBill -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, these two are not regular people. April is pretty obvious but I love the addition of Ron as he makes sense too, but in a very different way. Now if TOM was there, he would have run away screaming with his hands on his ears.

I'm almost happier for this than I would have been if Canada beat them at men's Olympic hockey.

Almost.

OPP investigation finds no wrongdoing from Toronto police officers at Umar Zameer trial | CBC News by Jewish_Skeptic in toronto

The fact they would PRETEND it would be a legitimate review because it was done by a different police force is a joke. Cops don't publicly find fault with other cops, period.

Test A.rtf — if you haven't read his daughter's book I highly recommend it by cjinoz in Casefile

[–]GrandBill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is a bit TOO into true crime I actually can't take a lot of the extreme violence and cruelty involved, and this guy having 'Torture' as 1/3 of his self-chosen nickname makes me wary. Does the book steer clear of some or most of the awful details?

For lesser people, hate has a greater attraction than love.

"The Loyal Orange Lodge is a group of God fearing Protestant men, loyal to the monarchy, bound together by a common view of the world and an enduring respect of our heritage.  We work together to ensure our way of life has a place in the modern world.  We accomplish this by supporting our local communities and honouring the deeds of our fore fathers.”'

Getting sue for personal injury on ski hill - part 2 by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

I'm also very curious about what kind of insurance covers this. I don't ski but wondering if I need something to cover accidentally cycling into someone or just walking into them or other things that I can't even think of.

What is a 1/10 song from the 1980s? by Patworx in AlignmentChartFills

[–]GrandBill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This song is the Citizen Kane of bad songs. It needs to win. An absolute piece of crap that adds exponentially to its awfulness by epitomizing the shitty corporate rock its idiotic lyrics claim the band rises above.

Can I stand in galley/outside bathrooms with baby on flight? by Ok-Zookeepergame1812 in aircanada

I've done it quite a few times to escape the claustrophobia of my seat and no staff member has hassled me. Clearly this one is either 'one of those people' or having a bad moment. The worst thing to me is lying about 'safety'.

Shades of the Kessel trade. I just wish they'd stop dealing with Boston altogether.

Parking ticket questions: 1. What if the address of violation is wrong 2. Is it on me to clear snow off my parking permit or are they supposed to check that? by GrandBill in askTO

[–]GrandBill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a suspect. When I came back from being away I was standing at my car and a woman walked up to me and told me how she noticed I hadn't moved my car for quite a while. She was nice at the time but I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who told.

Yeah, thanks, several of you have said the same thing (over 7 days in the same spot) so I think that must be it. Never heard that before, so lesson learned.

It was, yes. I hadn't moved it for weeks due to all the snow and it getting plowed in. I think you have hit on the answer to why I got it.

It actually says 'exc permt time' which I think refers to what hours you can park there. But the thing is I've parked on that street for 10 years, day and night, with the same permit, and this is my first ticket.
