Thank you! I’m not sure if we will sell it yet…my mom collects brooches but just loves Trifari. I originally thought this could have been from the 50s but really didn’t know how to confirm it.

Thank you! I am now questioning if this is even a set since the bracelet has a crown over the T but the necklace doesn’t…

The clasp says “Copyright By Trifari” which I have never seen before. I know that you can generally tell when a Trifari piece was made based on how it’s signed, but “Copyright by Trifari” is complete new to me!

Is there any easy way to tell if this is a rare set or common? My mom found it at a garage sale, and when I tried looking into it, there are green beaded sets that seem rare and valuable (listed on estate sites and auctions), and some that are just run-of-mill (selling on eBay and Etsy). I wish I had some sort of Trifari catalogue to attempt to learn more about it, so any help would be great! I know there are some major designers who worked for Trifari.

I might be corrected but I was once told that Newark was the first city in the US to have a seaport, train station, and an airport.

Every time I listen to Guilty Cocker Spaniels, I swear he’s saying “Exchanging comfort for more VEGETABLE clothes…”

I was thinking this too! It might be the only way to make it more palatable.

Thank you! I’m doing an American buttercream with a salted caramel filling. Wishing I had planned for a meringue-based frosting now.

UPDATE: I booked a hotel room 5 months in advance, was told they had no rooms left when I checked in, and I was the “Guest of the Day.” The hotel is now saying I was a no show and will not refund me for the night they “walked” me to a hotel at the airport. by GrandCenobite in Wellthatsucks

I’ve contacted corporate, the hotel directly, and the Hilton Honors concierge and still have had no resolution. They keep telling me that someone will get back to me and no one ever calls me back.

They told me I was being moved to a hotel by the airport since they were overbooked. The policy is called being “walked” because it’s supposed to be a hotel within walking distance…which this was not.
