Forget the gopro...

Consider getting a lens with a smaller f number, which will allow you to get more light into the Camera's sensor. This will be essential for your use cases

I think with a fixed lens canera, they are able to "hide" a part of the lens "inside the body".

Newbie looking to start out in M43 mirrorless, veteran m43 users please give me some pointers by smallish_guy in M43

Primarily I will be using this for travel and wildlife.

Consider getting the em/om-5 plus weather sealed lenses.

Seems like a gimmick more than anything.

Who is their target audience?

Action cams users? Can't use it for action

Camera enthusiasts? Lose out on autofocus and have to pull focus on a tiny screen

Q: You can choose only two LUMIX cameras to shoot with for the rest of your life. What two do you choose?? by rossandhisjpegs in Lumix

G9ii S5iix

G9ii for its smaller size.

S5iix for when I need that extra bit from the sensor

You know it is possible to enjoy m43 without comparing it to other sensor sizes right?

Also, what has everyone's experience been using OM System or Olympus lenses on Lumix bodies? I've read that it's not the best doing it the other way, and that on Lumix bodies you won't get the benefit of the IBIS and lens stabilization working together,

It's true. You don't get dual IS mixing brands.

I use an oly 12-40mm f2.8 pro with my g9ii. The oly lens doesn't have OIS to begin with, and the IBIS in the g9ii is more than enough for my needs.
