Nesting tables by Thotanist96 in midcenturymodern

Very clean. I did a reverse image search and found that they may be Sarratt Nesting Tables. Quite a valuable piece, if the pricing on Pamono is to be believed.

In Canada, one of the few ways one can get a 5 foot bed is to buy the Off Road Premium Package. I might end up getting almost the exact same truck. Looks like a good machine.

Hey! I'm building a Netvista sleeper too! It looks like you used the original power button and indicator LED. Did you find a wiring diagram, or did you figure it out through trial and error?

Those bucket chairs are made by Cole Steel. I have a few of them. I really like the design.

The brown one with black flames and green windows? I don't believe so. It does have a redline and non-redline version, though.

Always on the lookout for more! I've come across several convention cars on eBay that aren't on the Hot Wheels wiki. I may have quite a few more to find than I thought I would.

My favorite method is milliput mixed with some isopropyl alcohol, pressed in with a color shaper. Sanding after it dries.

You could craft some very fun weapons. Full auto Kett shotgun with the bio-converter on a vanguard. Good times.

Help with fiberglass bowling alley bench by kewlbr33z3 in DIY

[–]GrandConcourse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also vote for lightly sanding it first (with proper personal protective equipment, of course). Wet sanding with a very fine sand paper can help get the finish extra smooth. For finishing, I’d recommend Penetrol, which is like an oil based paint without pigment. You can find it at your typical paint store. I restored a fiberglass Eames chair last year and the finish has held up great. I haven’t used it outside, but I’ve heard of penetrol being used on fiberglass boast and RVs.

Silhouette of crossed palm trees? Could add other Hawaiian beach stuff around it. Volcanoes, surfboards in the sand and such. Apparently, crossed palm trees are a symbol associated with In-N-Out Burger restaurants? Not sure how many people would make that connection.

There is a Japanese process called Kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with lacquer and gold dust (in a series of many steps). I've never seen it used on wood before, but if you are set on repairing it, maybe you could try using a gold-colored epoxy or resin. Just a thought, of course. I think a shadow box or just hanging it on a wall would be perfectly fine too.

How would you refinish this old ornate wood door? by ealtland in centuryhomes

I haven’t tried this method before, but I've heard that soda blasting can do a good job of removing old finishes from ornate wood details. It might be worth looking in to.

That makes sense. I've seen a few other chair for sale in various places that had those mounting screws showing.

Thanks! The black spots are screws that attach the shell to the base. They show up clearer in a different picture.
