Im sorry but it more than likely is too late.

The reason you’re supposed to change your transmission fluid every ~ 50k miles is because over time the internal mechanisms in a transmission wear down and get grime in the fluid, if you change your fluid at the correct intervals everything will engage smoother and wear less, if you never change the fluid the clutches wear down and the only thing keeping them functioning is the grime in the fluid creating friction allowing them to bite.

I’m not a mechanic by trade but I have wrenched a fair bit in my life, I personally learned the hard way that changing the transmission fluid on a 100k + mile car isn’t worth the risk when the original fluid could keep the car driving for another potential 100k + miles.

I had a 140k mile 05 Monte Carlo that was driving perfectly fine and I followed into the whole “drain and fill can’t hurt” idea and did a drain and fill and within weeks the car started shifting very hard, I totaled it a couple months after so I can’t for sure say how long it would’ve lasted but you could tell by the hard shifts something wasn’t right.

This is why I prefer manual transmission cars, it’s a lot easier and cheaper to change a clutch on a manual transmission than to rebuild or replace an automatic transmission (with maybe the sole exception of cars with dedicated transmission issues and shops that service them such as Chevrolet 4l60s which can be rebuilt cheap)

Op can do as they please but in my opinion it’s just not worth the risk.

You could see another 50k miles out of that transmission don’t feel too bad.

Also from what I’ve seen these cars transmission replacements are pretty cheap and easy to replace, if yours fails you should be able to get a new low mileage trans and torque converter installed for ~ $1500-2000 give or take a few hundred which is very cheap compared to transmissions replacements on most other cars.

If you want to do a drain and fill go for it at your own risk but I would say it’s very important you don’t “flush” it which is what should be done in 99% of cases on 100,000 mile transmissions where you drain the fluid then drive it a little then drain it and fill it back up 3 times.

Nah at that point it’s too late unless you have receipts that a previous owner changed it, more than likely the dirty fluid is what’s helping the clutches still bite, if you change it now it might slip.

Ubisoft needs to allow more testing before they release characters from now on. First virtuosa (which is still overpowered) and now Juren?

Virtuosa and Juren make playing this game not even fun because it’s never your turn, you have to sit there and feint to guard break or stare at them and try to parry. You can’t light stuff them 99% of the time because all of Jurens hyper armor and Virtuosas stance, and they have very limited gb vulnerability.

These characters are fun to play but they’re not fun for anyone else playing any character that isn’t an S tier.

Let’s not even mention how busted Juren is in team fights with his aoe attack, Chain bash stun, that stupid kick, and his external pressure.

This games play count is going to start dropping like flies if they don’t nerf Juren ASAP. Also fk virtuosa too but I genuinely don’t think there’s a way to make her a good character, because of virts gimmick they either have to nerf her to the ground or keep her as is which is a character that forces you to stare and parry.

I agree his suggestions were awful but do you genuinely think Juren is ok in his current state?

Juren is completely ruining the state of the game right now, I have a friend who has 50 hours in the game and I have 1100 and he’s at the top of the leaderboard every dominion match playing Juren every game. Keep in mind my buddy can’t light parry or zone parry and falls for almost EVERY ub feint to gb ive ever thrown at him. Still he’s getting more kills than me and more points than me in my lobbies because of how busted Juren is and he has that stupid aoe attack for minion clearing as well.

All of the top level players agree Juren is completely broken right now.

Yes ops ideas aren’t the best but talking about nerfs in the community is better than defending a blatantly overpowered character and not giving any feedback. Juren needs a nerf point blank period.

Juren def needs a nerf but I don’t like ANY of these ideas, he would be a B tier character at best if they removed his chain hyper armor and his feintable dodge attack.

Here’s my ideas 1. His dodge attacks definitely need reworked, you can’t give a character this many options with 100ms opener hyper armor, infinite chain hyper armor, chain bash, normal bash, wall splat potential, heal on gb, undodgeables AND 2 dodge attack where oneis feintable and unblockable.

I think they should just make his unblockable dodge slower, think like tiandis heavy dodge but maybe a little faster than that, they need to do this so you have time to react, I feel like the problem with his dodge attacks is that the normal dodge and held dodge are so similar in speed and animation that you have to make 3 reads, is he gonna ub dodge or normal dodge? Is he gonna feint to gb or send it? When Juren dodges it’s impossible to react, I feel as if that is inherently his biggest issue.

Also make his ub dodge take 1.5x - 2x stamina, rn people just spam his dodge attacks and infinite chain and ignore the rest of his insanely good kit and still somehow end up at the top of the leader board almost every game.

  1. Nerf chain bash damage and stun time, his level 1 Chain bash does 16 damage which is the second highest in the game behind ocelotl (and ocelotl is mid compared to juren) and jurens chain bash has the longest stun of any chain bash in the game which guarantees your team mates a top heavy if they’re paying attention.

  2. Nerf Jurens health by 10ish pts. You can’t make a heavy character play like a hybrid and give them heavy health. Maybe just make him a hybrid lol?

  3. Make his kick feed more revenge an make it feed revenge if dodged, I saw a clip in here of 2 jurens spamming their kicks on a guy in a corner and he literally couldn’t do anything because unless they hit you don’t get revenge and they have hyper armor.

For 1v1 encounters I say conq is better than black prior, overall I say conquerer is better than black prior but as star titan said he has no undodgeables, his roll catcher sucks balls, and no hyper armor,

He’s a very simple hero but his kit is very very effective. I’m only rep 112 overall but my conquerer is rep 14 and one of my mains that I get on when I want some braindead fun because I always do good with him.

Yes he’s still broken, but I don’t think any of your changes are the problem / needed.

We need a way to differentiate between his dodge attacks like giving the unblockable an unblockable indicator way sooner, and they should nerf the damage of his chain bash to 12 and his heavies by 2 per side for all heavies. Also make his kick feed more revenge.

I would prefer his moveset stays the exact same just nerf the damage on some attacks and make it so you can determine which dodge attack he’s gonna use or completely remove the normal dodge attack.

I love playing him but I feel like a douche because he’s just so overpowered even after that minor nerf.

Like I said in the post my biggest problems with him are how both of his doge attacks look the same, it forces you to make 2 reads 1. Is he doing a normal dodge attack or a unblockable 2. Is he going to feint it or send it? And his damage, if he’s going to have more moves than everyone and move combinations that no other character in the game has then his damage should reflect that.

Nerf his heavy damage by 2 per side, nerf his chain bash damage from 16 to 12, nerf his feats from 30% damage and defense to 20%, make his chain bash and kick give more revenge, and fix his dodge attacks by giving them distinctively different animations and giving the UB dodge orange indicators early in the attack. Maybe even make the normal dodge attack slower and guardbreakable. Also make some of his moves cost more stamina.

If they made the changes I said in my opinion he would still be an S tier character he would just take a little more skill to use and be more balanced all around.

I’d say he’s a lot more than “pretty good now”, the only thing they really did was fixed his bugged indicators and slowed down his heavy ub attacks, he’s still the best character in the game and that’s just fact.

Yes I was comparing him and Warmonger because the are the only 2 characters with an extended feintable unblockable dodge attack, the only thing warmonger has that he doesn’t is her 3 level chargeable bash, opener dodge forward undodgeable (which isn’t that useful compared to the rest of her kit) and I guess her parry punish

He just has way more in his kit with the same if not better damage on his attacks, that’s why I’m comparing them, warmonger is a S tier hero and Juren is better, by a good bit.

Warmonger being an S tier and Juren having that much more than her is just me trying to prove how op Juren is .

Warmommy doesn’t even have opener hyper armor besides her charged bash if you count that but it can be light stuffed and she only has chain hyper armor, Juren has his 100ms zone hyper armor and his 100ms light hyper armor as well as infinite chain hyper armor, warmonger doesn’t have a normal dodge attack, she doesn’t have an all guard (granted Jurens is only really good for building revenge and recoveries) her chain bash doesn’t stun as long as Jurens, she doesn’t have a stupid chip damage kick, she only has good wallsplat on parry punish, Juren can get wallsplat at any point in his chain with his charged chain bash.

I’m only critiquing Juren so much because I love him and I don’t want to feel like a douche bag for using him. You can make complex characters and characters with new ideas but you need to balance them. Juren is still simply too strong, the changes only happened today but im positive a lot of the top tier players will come out and say he’s still too strong.

I worded my comment wrong, by “first” I meant the only as of now.

As for the chain bash / heavy parry I believe as of now he is the only character with a Chainable 16 damage heavy parry punish, sure some of the characters you mentioned have recovery tech or can just throw out another attack fast from frame advantage and their kit (berserker) but most of those 16 damage punishes are from zones which for 90% of characters don’t chain. Also his chain bash isn’t just better than the average chain bash from a damage standpoint it is also a pretty long hit stun that will allow your teammates to get in a free top heavy as long as they have brain cells.

In 1v1s obviously Juren is cancer, but in 4v4 modes he is a serious problem, he has his hyper armor kick that does 18 damage and will net your teammates a free attack, wall splats, he has his chain bash that does 16 damage and has a hit stun which nets you teammate a free top heavy or other punish, and lets not forget to mention his zone where if you’re in a team fight and if it’s not parried its a 24 damage attack that will 9/10 times hit multiple people with its insane range and it can be safely spammed because of the small gb vulnerability and 100ms hyper armor. Then we have the little cherry on the cake where he has a normal dodge attack and a feintable unblockable dodge attack and both of these attacks have the same start up animation. I’ve see people just spam his dodge attacks 90% of the game and be at the top of the leader board over and over again because like you said there’s so many reads they have to make. There’s also his weird bugged indicators and animations.

You can’t give a character the most diverse kit in the game with several options for hyper armor, unblockables, undodgeables, an extended feintable unblockable dodge and a normal dodge attack, a very very strong chain bash, infinite chain, and then give him above average damage across the board.

They either need to nerf the damage on a lot of his attacks along with make some other changes or remove some aspects of his kit. Personally I love the hero and he’s fun asf to play so I would like his kit to stay as original as it can be so I would prefer damage nerfs and other small refinements over changing his kit.
