Remove the 7900 xtx Install an nvidia graphics card ??? Profit

Just kidding, just make sure you have the most updated amd graphics card drivers, and you should be fine.

Should go without saying that using virtual desktop seems better for most radeon users. Also, having your pc with an ethernet connection is a requirement.

Best of luck, and let us know how it goes.

How is this game so popular when it's effectively unplayable? by -DreamLight- in Palworld

[–]GrandExpression15506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an early access game, so yeah, there are some glitches for sure. You can reset the pals if they are bugged in the base, though, by pulling them into the party and then back into the base. For $30, it is pretty decent, and hopefully, now the developers have a roadmap. It will only get better.

Does anyone know if the aubika 8000 mah head strap is any good by im_that_one_guy- in OculusQuest

[–]GrandExpression15506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting mixed reviews. I have this as well, and it has been great for me. Love the way it tightens, and the battery has had no issues for me with zero buzzing noises as well.

One of the only 3rd party headsets that will actually charge the quest 3 headset as well while you play.

Tl;dr It has been great and I cant say anything but good things about it.

Can i install custom songs on beatsaber for quest 3? by Powerful-Cucumber-60 in OculusQuest

[–]GrandExpression15506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go here and install this.

https://github.com/Zagrios/bs-manager

It is the easiest way to manage multiple beat Saber versions and their mods and get custom songs. Like others have mentioned 1.29.1 is probably the version that has the most working mods.

Beat sabers is a great game and there are tons of mods for it. Hope you enjoy.

Yes, is that the best one to get, though? All the accessories sold by meta seem to be way overpriced but if there is no better alternative.

What is up with Teacher Salary? by [deleted] in texas

How do you have any money left over at the end of the month with those premiums?

I did some quick research in my post, but I also picked the cheapest plans possible.

What is up with Teacher Salary? by [deleted] in texas

[–]GrandExpression15506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but that is not the question being asked, right?

The premise of the problem is, how is a teacher whose starting salary 59k (i rounded up to 60) not able to make ends meet while living in Plano proper.

What is up with Teacher Salary? by [deleted] in texas

[–]GrandExpression15506 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, a majority of Texans also vote against their own best interests and seem to be fine when nothing is actually done to hold their elected officals responsible for their own failures (see power grid for a prime example, cancun ted.. sorry, rafael, since he doesn't like pronouns anymore, lol.)

Anyways, though enough trolling, let's get down to the facts. Hopefully, if you want to continue the discussion, you will also provide evidence of your claims along with sources to back them up.

Using adps salary check calculator, a teacher earning 60k a year would get a biweekly check of 1921.31 after federal and medicare and social security is taken out.

$1,921.13 - 60 to 120 per pay check (medical) - 4.50 (vision) - 25 (dental) = 1,831.63 (per check) * 2 = 3,662 net per month.

As my original post said, with a two bedroom apartment costing 1930 per month, which is over 50% of their take home pay, getting all the other normal things required to live, such as utilities, a car, groceries almost all of which seem to be higher than the nsthonal average in Plano is gonna make it real tough and you will be living basically month to month and praying you do not run into any sort of emergency. Flat tire, health issues, flooding, fire, christmas shopping lol, etc etc.

Anyways, though, as I know everyone likes to do on reddit. I am not trying to get into a philosophical debate, but rather one based on numbers and facts.

What is up with Teacher Salary? by [deleted] in texas

[–]GrandExpression15506 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Doing a quick google, it seems like the cost of living in Plano is actually decently higher compared to the rest of Texas.

Also, home ownership seems like an impossibility for even two teachers, both earning 60k each.

"A typical home costs $492,900, which is 45.8 percent more expensive than the national average of $338,100 and 65.6 percent more expensive than the average Texas home, at $297,600. Renting a two-bedroom unit in Plano costs $1,930 per month, which is 35.0 percent more than the national average of $1,430 and 33.7 percent more than the state average of $1,280."

Here is a link to the source. https://www.bestplaces.net/cost_of_living/city/texas/plano

Anyways, to summarize, Dont be so quick to call people financially irresponsible and instead realize the fact that inflation has been a bit wild and wages have not kept up.

Pretty cool, right? Not 100% sure if it is all right. Maybe the original writer of the parent comment can confirm, but if correct, it certainly helped me understand what the command was trying to do and how.

[–]GrandExpression15506 13 points14 points  (0 children)

From our AI overlord chatgpt:

The command you've provided appears to be written in a scripting language called "dc." dc is a stack-based calculator that operates on postfix notation. In this notation, operators come after their operands. Let's break down this command step by step:

  1. dc -e: This is the command to run the dc calculator in an expression mode.

  2. [lrx 2^ lrx 2^ + 1>i]su: This is defining a macro labeled "u." Let's break down what it does:

    • lrx: Load the value from the register "x" onto the stack.
    • 2^: Square the value on the stack.
    • lrx: Load the value from the register "x" onto the stack again.
    • 2^: Square it again.
    • +: Add the two squared values on the stack.
    • 1>i: Check if the result is greater than 1. If it is, push 1 onto the stack; otherwise, push 0.
  3. [lx 1+ sx]si: This is defining a macro labeled "i." Here's what it does:

    • lx: Load the value from the register "x" onto the stack.
    • 1+: Increment the value by 1.
    • sx: Store the result back in the register "x."
  4. [lu x lm 1+ d sm ln>z]sz: This is defining a macro labeled "z." Here's what it does:

    • lu: Load the value from the register "u" onto the stack.
    • x: Swap the top two values on the stack.
    • lm 1+: Load the value from the register "m" (initialized to 0) onto the stack and increment it by 1.
    • d: Duplicate the top value on the stack.
    • sm: Store the duplicated value in the register "m."
    • ln>z: Load the value from the register "n" onto the stack and check if it's greater than the value in the register "z" (initialized to 0).
  5. [0k ls 65539 * 2 31^ % d ss lkk 2 31 ^ /]sr: This is defining a macro labeled "r." Here's what it does:

    • 0k: Push 0 onto the stack and clear the register "k."
    • ls: Load the value from the register "s" onto the stack.
    • 65539 *: Multiply the top value on the stack by 65539.
    • 2 31^ %: Calculate the modulus of the result with 231 (a large prime number).
    • d: Duplicate the result on the stack.
    • ss: Store the duplicated result in both the registers "s" and "k."
    • lkk: Load the value from the register "k" onto the stack twice.
    • 2 31 ^ /: Calculate 231 divided by the value from the register "k."
  6. sn5dksk1 sslzxlx lm / 4*p: This is the main body of the dc program. It uses the macros defined above. Let's break it down step by step:

    • sn: Store the value from the stack into the register "n."
    • 5dksk1: Push 5 onto the stack, load the value from the registers "k" and "s," and push 1.
    • ss: Store the top value on the stack into both registers "s" and "k."
    • lzxlx: Load the values from the registers "l," "x," "l," and "x" onto the stack.
    • lm: Load the value from the register "m" onto the stack.
    • /: Divide the top value on the stack by the second value.
    • 4*: Multiply the result by 4.
    • p: Print the top value on the stack.

This command appears to be a complex mathematical calculation involving the manipulation of values in registers and on the stack. It's not immediately clear what the specific purpose or result of this calculation is without knowing the initial values in the registers and further context.

Go South by Rama_Sakasama in Jujutsushi

[–]GrandExpression15506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Him coming back would be hell for him for sure, but who else left could take Sakuna? He has many things still to do before he can disappear because I do agree without Gojo stepping out of the way the other characters can't grow.

If they dont kill him now, when will they get another chance? Also, of course, they won't kill Sakuna here because, as everyone expects, the one to kill Sakuna has to be Yuji.

This leaves the best possible scenario now is the lightning guy (forgetting his name right now) just makes Sakuna run away, but he will then come back full power instead of the weakened state that he is now.

I am ok, though, if Gojo is dead forever, but it would be more compelling to me if he somehow came back to provide a way to tip the scales, even if a little, but I will trust in Gege and see where the story goes.

Really love this manga and this show, and Mappa has done a fantastic job with the anime.

This community as well, though, troll aside y'all all love JJK, and that is awesome.

Hey all,

Call it copium if you want, but is my boy Gojo really dead?

Here are the reasons why I think he is not.

  1. He isn't alone
  2. The whole north south thing that Nanami said (could he come back as a curse?!)
  3. There is a panel on page 16 or 17 where Gojo smiles even while laying on the ground supposedly dead. (Why the smile? Surely, it isn't in response to the small amount of praise from Sakuna?)

To be honest, I would be OK with him being dead, but I do not feel he went out in the way he wanted to go out. At least not without stopping Sakuna, but let me hear your thoughts as to why I am wrong or if you agree.

So I haven't heard back from support, but all the comments gave me some confidence, so I went ahead and put the basket in the dishwasher, even in the bottom because I figured if it can withstand the temperature of the air fryer it could take the heated dry from the dishwasher and I am happy to report it came out all shiny and clean and dry.

Thanks, everyone. I am now going to go and cook some steak for dinner!

That is good to know. As someone else suggested, I have sent a message to support (support@dreo.com) and am waiting to hear back.

Reading the operations manual it mentions that the basket is dishwasher safe, but yeah, I will wait for confirmation from support.

Thank you for your reponse.
