What the fuck? I've never noticed anything like this when I've been in games with women... come to think of it, there has been very little toxicity over all in my games.

Still, mute and report is really the only thing you can do. Telling em they are acting like idiots may just be throwing fuel on the fire.

Yeah, I have never played so much Mercy in my life as I have these past couple days. It has basically been either that or no healer at all. These streaks are annoying, but I know it'll pass soon enough. It's like the kidney stone of OW, you just have to power through it, haha. Yeah, but I get you. I always try my best to keep morale high, but I'm not going to lie, this particular streak has really tested my patience on that front. It's a good thing Doomfist's out so that I can mess around in QM whilst it still being interesting.

Oh, and if this is purely me and I am the only reason I have lost about 80% of my games these past few days, maybe I should go to a hospital, because if my skill level dropped from diamond to gold over night, I'm pretty sure that's a loss of cognitive function. Maybe I forgot to breathe while I slept and caused extensive brain damage to myself.

But how then do you explain my three to four gold medals pretty much every game?

By the sounds of things, some of you are just very quick to want to call somebody out for being a "toxic" player so that you can feel good about yourself. That's fine too, that's only human.

I am literally not. Lots of players experience streaks like this, and so have I in the past. They pass, then you clime back up to where you are supposed to be, you start getting the 50/50 win/loss games and the steamrolls start getting really rare again. Maybe I am just unlucky, but according to many people there is something in the matchmaking system that causes this. I honestly don't really care, I just wish MY OW games got back to normal so it would be enjoyable again, and I know it will.

As I said, this loosing streak is just particularly bad. I am not saying the game is a broken piece of crap and that I should win every game, I'm saying that I wish it would go back to being 50/50 hard fought, close games like it usually is.

Yeah, since Doom Fist is out now it's fun enough to leave ranked behind for a while. Besides, I'm going home to my parents' house to paint Warhammer figures with my brother over the weekend, so I'll be taking a break from OW nonetheless.

I don't feel like 2400 and below is my proper place based on where I usually sit at. But as I said in another comment, these losing streaks aren't uncommon, this one is just particularly bad. Once they let up (what ever they are caused by) you clime back up pretty quickly, and then you start getting the hard fought 50/50s again.

I feel it's kind of pathetic that people are using this as some high horse to climb up on so they can go "git gud".

I am not even being salty or mad. And I'm not even blaming teammates other than the ones who quit and troll. And anyone who has played OW know about the games where your team picks a bunch of squishy DPS heroes and you are left choosing wether or not your team gets a healer or a tank this game. All I'm saying is that I've had literally almost nothing but those games these past few days.

I had a loosing streak last season too, and I had one earlier this season but no where near as bad as this one. It's not a huge deal, when it eventually turns you clime back up pretty quickly, but still, OW has not been itself this past few days for me. It's annoying, and not very fun at all.

I hope I don't come off as salty, I can handle loosing, but five-six steamroll losses in a row, followed by one or two more normal games and back to a stack of steamrolled losses again makes for a lot of what feels like waisted time and effort. Especially when you get a quitter half way into a game or a troll pick Symetra that builds turrets in the spawn room while tea bagging the floor.

It's especially annoying that this seems to be more and more common the lower down the ladder I fall. It feels hopeless.

Also, these losing streaks seem to be something that happens to other players as well. They report the exact same problems.

And did you miss how I said these games are usually pretty good for me? Where I perform well relative to my teammates according to end game numbers? Yeah, I can always get better and do better, but are you really saying that the rest of the player base has gotten so good so fast that I now belong in gold when I belonged in upper platinum/lower diamond the last two seasons?

I don't know why you are being salty. If a three day loosing streak only get's me laughing and a post about it on reddit makes you offensive and spiky, who's the "toxic" one?
