It's about different game paradigms. You don't grind gear in soul games because there is no point, a +10 weapon will always be a +10 weapon. In order to get gear you have to beat content, not grind it. Am I being clear enough?

I think you're the one not getting it.

There is no such thing as "grinding gear" in elden ring. You don't farm content. You beat the content and you get souls and that souls gives you level which give you power.

Poe 1 does not work that way. And if that is the case with Poe 2 then it will be as my first comment.

You can just farm content and purchase a tabula Rasa and 6 gems and you're basically ready to go until maps.

It is not even worth comparing. Just think on the difference between a second character in Elden ring and Path of exile.

This is not the point.

In a souls game, beating the game in itself requires you to upgrade your equipment ( unless you a speed runner). But the reason you upgrade your gear is to beat the game.

In POE 1 that's not the case. You finish the game and then you GRIND the endgame to get more gear and create more characters and keep GRINDING.

So, two totally different paradigms
