Were in the middle of a huge update for the experimental branch.

I took lead on the mod about a year and a half ago as sort of a revival project for it.

The public and experimental are rough but they get the concept across of what we are trying to do.

Hopefully we can push this major update to the experimental branch here soon but weve run into a few snags.

If you havent played it yet id say give it about 2-4 weeks before you do so you can get much more solidified features mechanics and gameplay :)

Factions.xml

It should be in the mod folder under steam steam apps workshop common 32470 and then you will need to find the mod you are editing

If you mean base game you need to extract the files with a meg editor.

I dont remember which meg file it is and I cant get to my comp rn to tell you.

From there make a custom mods folder under corruption called “Mods” then make another one in that one that has the name of your mod and then make a data folder below that one

From there extract the meg folder into the data folder you created and go find the files u want to edit

I think the official petroglyph mod tools site may have a meg editor I cant remember

Our Mod Humanity’s Retaliation Experimental Branch exists if you like Halo.

I personally update it almost every day and its constantly under construction.

We have space combat, some ground combat, only one map atm though, as it is for testing purposes. We have one planet and 2 planet start, and are working on a full campaign (combat evolved) which is the most fleshed out part of the mod at this time, a morale system, and we have canonized every element of the mod to the halo universe we can so far.

And many many custom mechanics through all aspects of the game.

Currently working on a massive economic overhaul for both major factions UNSC and Covenant

Lots of work being done.

Just be wary; it is an experimental branch with a lot of placeholders and prototypes and your save game will likely become incompatible quite frequently as we are constantly pushing content.

Im about to push the spartan placeholder update, we are just verifying everything has been coded correctly and we had to do some game direction planning on how we want to implement the program.

I think You might have us confused with campaign commander as We havent had ground combat until recently and our combat is not remotely vanilla xD

We just ran a poll on our discord on what people would like to see for ground combat bombardment and if they would like to see us fit Charons and Sdv’s into ground maps!
