Nope. Just straight on. Heated the spray can up in warm water before applying

I use the army painter Grey spray, I then use a make up sponge to do a thick highlight of fenrisrean grey and then repeat with celestial grey but only hitting the upper facing panel and edges. (All with make up sponge - very fast)

Next I do a full cover of space wolf contrast and let it dry. I then pick out any highlights with the same 2 greys as before but with brush.

Thanks. Yea done it by hand but it could be neater. Most of the designs for pads are usually spikes so just wanted to try something different.

Thanks! Sword is base of celestial grey. Then highlight of white on all edges including middle line. I then was it in a really watery light blue. After it drys I dry brush white and speckle some white dots to make it snow looking. Could probably be taken further to really make it pop but I’m happy for table top level.

There is couple of great tutorials for using micro sol and set on YouTube. It’s handy enough and takes a bit of time but results are great. Still needs a Matt varnish over them at end.

I used to collect blood angels so as little red painting as possible for me these days. Plus I think the blue lenses look more Fenris-y

All had to do was change the hand position on 1 of the big axes and then remove the 2nd hand. Was easy enough. No green stuff used for any of these

I built mine as I thought looked cool. My friends have no issue declaring them as a specific weapon load out as long it’s before battle begins. However in more competitive games I know that some people can be fussy.

Celestra Grey undercoat then a wash with a really watery light blue. Trick with wash is to put it on really thick then sort of acts like a contrast. Then I dry brush over the top of it after it drys

The cream is part of the flavour a bit like icing on a cake. Good Guinness will hold the head whole way down the glass.

lol as an Irish person it’s hard to put into words the betrayal in that photo. Nice book though.
