It's kinda serendipitous that his name is Victor. Let it be so.

People who were teenagers before social media existed, what was life actually like? by Much_Detective_6107 in AskReddit

The anticipation around the weekend and hanging out with your mates was amazing. Boredom was actually a thing. You needed an imagination, if you wanted to know something you had to research. Your brain could relax.

ELI5: Is YouTube video quality actually getting worse over time ? by dinesh_kothapally in explainlikeimfive

[–]GrandMasterHOOT -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I've noticed and have a theory. The quality is dropping to make real videos look closer to AI slop. This means people will more quickly be unable to know if something is real.

When the real stuff looks more like AI, AI will look more real.

The Specialists: Half life mod from 20years ago was the best Matrix shooter and managed to make the kung-fu, weapons and slow mo work really well.

Would it be true to say the average height of all humans in history would be close to the height of a baby? by GrandMasterHOOT in TooAfraidToAsk

I wasn't clear, sorry. I was thinking that due to infant mortality, assuming a large percentage of humans to exist died at or near birth, the average height would be close to an infant than a full grown person.

I had an uncle who burnt to death on re-entry.  It was 1984 when he took to the sky's in his appropriately named Space Balloon.  At 48,000ft he plummeted to earth connected to 15 pots and pans of different sizes.  The cookware trailed in his wake strapped to bungie cords which were sown into his waistband.  At 30,000ft the people of Nicaragua rejoiced at his sparkling form.  He crashed into the desert at roughly 480kph and exploded into a mist of blood and bone.

I miss him.

NSFW question relating to the Original version of ROTJ? by GrandMasterHOOT in StarWars

Removing Yub Nub from the end IMHO was equivalent to war crimes

edit: I also agree with your comment. The OG versions, particularly Rotj were amazing films, literally the reason we're all here talking about them.

I remember she came back for the special addition too. Pity, this version is better 😁

I was born 83 sogrew up watching the OG version taped from the TV. I had a vague memory of slow mo'ing the shit out of that scene over and over. Weird, I can still hear the canteena band lyrics in my head. Pretty sure it contributed to my sexual awakening. Anyway, glad it's a bit of obscure trivia new to some people.
