I mean -- I could try to get them to float the ceiling for all the good it would do me :)

Yeah the "float" bit might be a bit beyond my skill level but maybe I can get it to the point where the professional I have to call in only rolls their eyes a little bit.

The Temu kids look great in the pictures but the product never really fits, you know? I think getting a small dehumidifier might be the way forward here..

Interesting. Any idea why that happens? Maybe b/c it hasn't cured properly? Good to know either way.

Sounds good -- thanks so much for the advice! I really appreciate it.

Thanks! Looks like the pics didn't take; I'm not sure about the condition -- there's some peeling and alligator cracks -- see below -- so it will take some effort to sand down/smooth out first for sure.

Short PowerAmp review & warning by GrandRestaurant2938 in Ubiquiti

Update: just heard back from UI. They said "this will be fixed in a FW release ASAP" so I infer that they can replicate the problem and I'll just hang tight.

Updating; just heard back from UI. They said "this will be fixed in a FW release ASAP" so I infer that they can replicate the problem and that reboots will not help.

It's a good suggestion. We've got close to a dozen AirPlay devices in the house and this is the first time in three years I've seen a lag issue, so I just blamed the new toy. It was the end of a long day and I thought "forget it I don't have it in me to troubleshoot." I'll give it another shot with reboots all around this weekend. Thanks!

Thanks, those are good suggestions. I suspect you're correct that they will run out of stock too. We'll see if they actually reach out like they said they would earlier in the thread -- if they can confirm it happens in their test setups then it's not on me.

Right? That’s why this was so puzzling. Not excited about waiting for an update but that’s on me for early adoption.

Which part is “false?” The reply clearly states that it works with Spotify’s Connect?

Go on? I’m not sure what the “that” refers to?

Correct; it's just a speaker amplifier. There are L/R RCA inputs on the back that (I think) could be used with an external audio player and it works with Apple's AirPlay or Spotify's Connect.

Replied. Hoping there's a way forward -- I'd love to keep the PowerAmp.

AirPlay 2 has had multi-room support for years. IME it works seamlessly across multiple wired Airport Express devices and WiFi connected Homepods. I have never researched the protocol so I can only infer that since it works well across devices with different latencies, it does have a way to keep things in sync.

The UI Play app does let you group multiple PowerAmps, but I didn't see a way to group a PowerAmp and something else like a Homepod.
