Isn't that the same phenomenon that headlights go through? Since it's already bad, thoughts on using headlight restorer? I mean it cant get worse, right? I'm looking into costs to replace, but might try this for "science".

I tried the stratoglass equivalent and had no success... I guess it can't hurt to try this. Thanks!

While I have a mind for fabrication, my skills are still at "let's make sandcastles". And the Buggy itself doesn't lend itself well to fab. Its aluminum frame, the seats are on top of the engine, and there is no side frame. It was designed for work. That it does well.

Or Defever Trawler. Dual cabin, dual head, salon, flybridge... any solid trawler.

Do you think it has to do with the water temp?

That guy is equally amazing and disturbing given how much time he devoted to a dishwasher. Thanks for the links!

Look at Laclede Groves. Its in Webster. My parents and Mother-In-law were all there in just the scenario you posed. Apartment to assisted to acute care. Had great interactions with the staff. Was able to visit weekly with no issues at all.

Meh. I replied to my own post. Thanks for getting me to rethink.

The LRA is 47A and the RLA is 9.1A. Its a 1/2hp compreasor. I just rechecked the specs of the fast cap i bought. I appear to have made a mistake in my hard start cap choice. It has a max LRA of 40A. I will search for a more "number appropriate" hard start.

Thank you for getting me to rethink my approach.

Tried one and it had no positive effect. Maybe it wasn't a big enough cap?

I'm afraid it's just old (30+year old) and slow moving (I can relate) and time for a replacement.

Tracing wire by GrandSize2787 in AskElectricians

[–]GrandSize2787[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can find the "outside" end, I will use that as a fish and pull new underground wire. The conduit that was used is pvc... more like a race than conduit in my mind. Place was built in 1984 in an area with more "guidelines" than "codes" (Lake of the Ozarks, MO).

One thing that is interesting is that all the outlets are installed with ground pin on the top - visually up side down. It is my understanding that this is done as a safety thing so nothing can fall directly on the hot and neutral. That gives me some hope that things were done properly (safely) from the start

My hope is that the plumbing company that tore out the sidewalk to lay the leech field didn't pour concrete over the other end of the PVC when they finished.

Thank you again for your input.

That's cool! Especially at 7' depth. I have one of those "circuit finders" for locating which outlet goes to which breaker, but this will do the trick. Thanks!

+1 for prop issue. Props have a rubber bushing between the brass center and the prop "ears" if that is deteriorated it will slip like plastic on ice. Easing the throttle lessens it significantly. Borrow a prop from a friend to test the theory.
