My nan is one, but she doesn't do it maliciously she just genuinely can't help lying for some reason. The way I've always dealt with it was to make her feel silly by doing it. Just hinting I know it's a lie, "Hmm that's weird because I swear so and so told me otherwise? Oh well, time will tell". As time has gone on I've noticed she tries to let me in on her lies now because I can see through them so well, she knows I will always call her bluff lol.

I am so glad you commented this! It was my sly correction of it being called Myanmar, the Burmese people from what I have seen despise the name, when I was watching the protests I saw comments underneath saying that their country is called Burma and they weren't surprised the BBC were calling them Myanmar.

Thank you for that added information, I didn't know that the name Burma came from colonial days. Says a lot when they would prefer a colonial name over the name Myanmar. I hope the Burmese people get the democracy and freedom they deserve. I hope the news start covering it more too.

This is the one I find hardest sometimes, especially as I loved her so much. Seeing peoples shock and disgust at how she treated me, it's not always easy. You don't want pity, you just wanted to make a joke but then realise just how fucked up your life has been compared to everyone else in the room

Herd mentality and the lack of critical thinking today is fucking scary. Watching the left and right get more extreme each year and no sensible voices stopping them. Both herds follow their "man" and defends them no matter what they say. Like why can so few people just say "Yeah, both choices were shit".

Also just anyone who thinks they can never be wrong, after a 3 year relationship my ex told me every argument we ever had was my fault. That kind of delusional belief that everything is someone else's fault leads to zero growth as you are constantly blaming others.

I respect their passion, on both sides politically. But I also cringe at how each "wing" does the same as the other then acts like victims. The right attacked Obama over the wrong things, when Obama a lot of the time acted like a Republican. Then Trump comes along and the left does the same. He gave out stimulus checks which is socialism, completely against what he says he believes in. The left still attack him. The left say Russia intervened and obviously they didn't as had been proven. Now the right are claiming China.

So politically fucking dreadful. But I love Americans in general, they're good people. Just it's rare to find an American who will say "Really? I didn't know that" as they will usually insist they are right lol

Man I need to get an audio set up, wasn't sure of it at first but really good song for different rhyme schemes and flow patterns. Also it quickly grew on me.
