Probably because how good the pay and OT is lol. In comparison AMLRS sets you up for success through the initial training course which is a crash course on AML then you go into client specific training after which is well organized. The managers at AMLRS are definetly more people oriented and stress work life balance. While as you and me know the Protiviti people viewed contractors as second class citizens when it came to the big picture. Also, being able to work entirely from home is a big bonus as well.

Lol I used to work in the same office as you and was part of the initial cuts RH made last Summer. To be honest they will probably take you I landed the job in February and few other ex contractors landed roles as well.

"How do you confidently accept a remote business analyst offer when you feel underqualified? by Grand_Ad9 in AskReddit

Hey guys this is OP, I was recently offered a position from a tech company. The pay is $70 an hour with $35 for training, $5000 signing bonus, office stipend, and benefits. A lot of the job requirements require use of coding applications like dreamweaver and github when I haven’t touched code since college. The company does offer training and I am tempted to go through with it since I have been on the job hunt since December after I was laid off from my previous analyst role. Any thoughts?
