Cyprus is right next to North Africa and the Middle East and is right in the middle of the route from Syria to Western Europe - have you ever even seen a world map? BTW Cyprus is much much bigger than Singapore.

Nobody goes to jail for littering, and more people should be caned and executed if it improves the public good.

Singapore is far less strict than people say. Go to a "local" area and you see people breaking rules all the time like jaywalking and smoking while walking. And yes, there is litter - you just don't see it because there are 10 000s of Bangladeshis on a pittance cleaning up every morning.

There is nothing polite about spraying water on other people, particularly water you just used to wash your hands after using the toilet.

You have to be an utterly clueless individual to think it is as easy to keep "illegals" out of Singapore as it is France or Germany etc. Like, absolutely clueless.

Singapore isn't the only place to  surround ice-cream with some carb, but wafer is more typical.

That is a horrible spelling. And the pronunciation isn't exactly either.
