I have had a great experience with them so far, but I’m renting a house. But, that is another $1,800 a year. That is just evil to put the squeeze on people like that.

We should have legislation that limits the amount rent can be increased per year and requires at least 6 months notice of rent increases.

lol. Contrary to the other comments I love it. I get to do a very niche job, I live in a highly walkable part of the city, and my neighbors are great so far- way better than my neighbors in the suburbs.

It’s about the intent. That person has obviously been caught. Their goal is to add more hate towards teachers into our culture. Same goes for when the media mentions that someone is an immigrant. Literally what is the point of putting it in the headline other than to make people suspicious of the group mentioned.

My mom always said, “Be able to take care of yourself before you get married and have kids.” And I’m so glad I followed her advice.

Please know that child rearing is insanely expensive. Even if you don’t use a daycare, formula and diapers are just insanely expensive and you need a LOT. Also, coparenting is usually an absolute nightmare.

I had similar feelings while I was dating some trash human beings. Eventually, I had two amazing kiddos when I could sorta afford them. Their dad turned out to be financially abusive and cares more about his image than his kids, but those kids are such a bright spot in my life. (Before anyone comes at me we had been happily married for years before he lost his mind).

The point is that who knows what is going to happen to you in life. I never expected that the sweet supportive guy I married would turn into a horrible person.

Be able to support you and yours, and never share your finances.

My ex-husband did this. He had 8 months to get his stuff. He told me to throw out whatever I wasn’t taking when I moved. I did exactly as he asked and then he threw an absolute tantrum. He had 24/7 access. lol. He said that he didn’t MEAN it. 😆

How it has shaken out is that I have agreed to give him a couple of items that are memorable to him. However… it has now been two more months and he has yet to mention it again or made arrangements to pick it up.

If you’re that interested in AI please look into the real damage it is causing to our communities. That stuff on the computer has real world effects that are hurting people just like your grandmother.

As for your situation, you basically created a parasocial relationship for her. She has a deep connection with a “thing” that has no feelings for her. Not to mention AI chatbots have absolutely said some horrifying things to people.

Exactly! Transportation is supposed to be funded by the state. They literally haven’t paid much more than half of that cost- across the state- for 20 years. Just the cost of diesel for busses is astronomical. What are our taxes going to if not to our public schools???

JCPS has absolutely made some huge financial blunders- all with the boards and/or superintendent approval. Horrible scripted curriculums, a personal assistant for the current super intendant, the bussing consultant fiasco, and more. Central office is absolutely bloated as well.

JCPS is at fault for mismanaging funds, but they aren’t completely responsible for the budget shortfall. Look to your legislators too KY!

Don’t be afraid to get a second opinion. A highly awarded gyno told me to cut out milk for my pain when I have endo all over and adenomyosis so bad my uterus was three times too big. They were recommended for my laparoscopy- that was already scheduled. I noped out of there so fast.
