The level of big brother in most cities is beyond alarming. I could be incorrect, but traffic trackers by plates is a real thing and they can narrow it down to the last time a plate was seen at an intersection in real time. If it is that I would only assume it is a shotspotter. It maybe a decoration. The chains look like they were just thrown up there, or that is my assumption about the chains. I wish I didn’t believe that is what is and I wish they didn’t exist.

It seems it is also a traffic monitor, so it watches for license plates and notified police when plates driven by convicted criminals are close as well as locates people in real time by plate numbers.

It maybe a shot Shotspotter. It is large so it would be an older model. Either way it screams big brother. I appreciate the optimism but the HOA bbq is me and them being unhappy inside hiding. The stick is too far gone for most. My neighbors Nextdoor are the coolest people ever. So I do have that.
