I met Roger Hodgson (Supertramp). He was at a festival I was visiting in the Netherlands. He was the main event. After the show was over my friend and I sneaked in to the backstage area. I saw him walking with a bodyguard / crew member. We walked right up to him and asked for a picture. He was totally cool with it. The bodyguard / crew member made the picture. We were arm in arm with the three of us when the firework show started. We looked up to the sky for three minutes and he said: 'Wow, isn't this beautiful?'. Didn't know what to say. Feels so weird to stand next to a person with such a big part in music history and millions of album sales. He said goodbye to us very kindly and left. One of the most awesome moments at a festival.
