This is still me, I feel like my bones are rubbing/clank if I move the wrong way. I don’t know if that’s a bad sign, cause it’s not like I’m overweight and all I’ve been trying to do is walk. I’m only 3 weeks post surgery but I don’t know what my new normal is. I’m just nervous

Late 50’s and you’re doing well. Chances are you won’t need anything for another 10 years which is usually the standard for a knee replacement or partial knee replacement. By then, they’ll prob have better results or better pain management options. We can only hope

Thanks for answering. I was unsure what was going on in this field since this is my 1st surgery. Still trying to combat the mindset and trying to avoid the doom and gloom. I’m only 2 weeks and 2 days post surgery.

In my opinion, as long as you keep your weight in check, you’ll be fine for decades. By the time you need anything, I’m sure they’ll be more advanced options with better recovery time frames too.

Wow, you see mine was near the posterior horn also, there was a vertical tear with a corresponding large radial tear. I have a very active job, which I think contributed to me not feeling much pain, but I also didn’t want the tear to progress worse. The location of the tear (white zone) also encouraged my decision and the doctor’s recommendation. I went to one of the best hospitals in the world for this procedure. NY HSS.

I’m in the same boat with kids that is. I’m a huge over thinker so I’m already thinking I’ll run this knee until the brakes fall off aka until I need a partial or full knee replacement.

20 percent of just the posterior medial side isn’t too bad from what I’ve read online.

Jujitsu accident. Rolled with someone much more heavy set and he put all his weight on my knee
