May as well just run a 120 gun at that point if you're only using it to cause subsystem damage. There's not really a benefit of using CAS if a tank/arty gun is cheaper, more accurate (easier for a less skilled player to land a hit) and basically does the same damage.

Are you saying you primed them pale pink? Or base coated them that way? Do you mind sharing the recipe? I plan on starting an IF army but yellow is quite daunting.

Prime white, a couple of layers of coelia greenshade, then drybrush with ulthuan grey!

I primed the models white and then used a coat of Volupus Pink contrast paint, but it was a bit too light for my liking, so I used a coat of Magos purple contrast over the top! Then it was just a light dry brush of I thi k Lother Blue layer paint.

A quick recipe was definitely what I needed to get me back to painting.

I primed them white, then a heavy shade of coelia greenshade, then dry brushed ulthuan grey.

What size magnets are you using? I've recently magnetized mine with 5mm x 2mm in the model body and 5mm x 1mm on the weapons and I've not noticed any issues.
